The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, my wife ordered a chicken sandwich and fries. However, I wanted to try something else. I ordered a lamb over rice platter and WOW!

I wasn't sure what to expect. Figured it would be a Greek/Mediterranean style and it is similar, but these flavors knocked it out of the park. Sharing with my wife, she didn't want to give my plate back!

There's a lamb or chicken or a mix over rice. I really can't recommend it enough. Amazing in every sense of the word! It's got a little kick to it, I'd say medium level spice. Nothing too bad, but I loved it. The meat was juicy and flavorful. I loved every single bite and just wanted more.

We dined in and the restaurant itself has a nice, calming atmosphere to it. Nice nature pictures on the wall and TV. Very relaxing.

While the chicken was very good, the lamb over rice absolutely stole the show. A perfect mix of meat, veggies, rice, and spice, it was a 10/10 meal. Had a milkshake afterwards which was very good too.

You just know when you walk out of a place smiling that you hit gold? That's what happened here. Maaz's Chicken knocked it out of the park. This is truly an amazing gem in Franklin that you need to come visit.”

“Never thought I’d order fried chicken at a gas station! It was honestly really good. I ordered 2 tenders and potato wedges, chicken was juicy and the tenders were really big. Only thing I’d change would be to get a few more wedges in a side order but for $6 can’t beat it! The family working the counter were super friendly as well.”

“Far north of Boston an oasis of Irish culture sits perched beside the Winnipesaukee river in Franklin NH. Traditional music on Friday nights, Comedy in "The Depths" downstairs! Wonderful food and friendly service. The staff is small but genuine. So you may need patience when it gets busy. But that only leaves more room to talk with neighbors and have some good "craic". Lovely place. I recommend the corned beef ramen or the mediterranean salad with salmon. Of course they have all the irish classics as well. Try the teas too!”

“I worked there 40 years ago I did everything that the manager wanted even when he was not looking I always wipe down and keep everything clean if the food was outdated by whatever minute it was gone we did not serve soggy french fries we did not over salt them this menu the prices are way too high stop being so money hungry and lower the prices there needs to still be a dollar menu at McDonald's even if it's just a hamburger with only ketchup the apples should be two for a dollar and don't shake your head no when you read this Mr manager all the leftovers that do not get sold because you are so honest that when it's outdated you cannot sell it should be delivered immediately to poor families in the city they should not be thrown into the trash”

“Real hole in a wall vibe like bar. Also the toilet is a compost toilet where you dump saw dust after every poo FYI.
You definitely want to be careful driving to get there because of the long curvy driveway sort of so keep alert especially at night.”

“Visited for the first time last night and had the best experience with the family! The ice cream is top notch. I had the blueberry crumble and eating other ice cream will never be the same now. On top of the delicious treats, the quaint farm was a memory maker for the kids. Feeding goats, looking at the horses, playing on the swing set. Perfect time and would go out of my way to come here again.”

“Excellent service. Zachary was my waiter. His was so friendly and attentive. He was awesome!! Had the frozen peach mango drink and it was Delicious with a very nice presentation. The berry and goat cheese salad had excellent flavor and a good amount of everything in it.
Also enjoyed a personal size 4 cheese pizza (which I could not finish). Overall a great experience. If in the area again, I would definitely return.”

“Drove from Indiana to visit family in VT, and took a couple days to go to Maine and stopped here for lunch on our trip back to VT. I remember YEARS ago stopping here with my grandfather who worked for Pike Industries, but has since retired. I think they did work gatherings here. Food was delicious, wait staff was very nice and I hope to definitely return in the future. ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“My husband and I stopped here for dinner tonight and it was so good. Their COVID-19 protocols were too notch and we felt very comfortable! They are also very accommodating with their menu. I wanted their teriyaki chicken, but with crispy chicken instead and they did it no questions asked. It was AMAZING and they immediately added it to their menu! Go try the teriyaki fried chicken, you will NOT be disappointed!! It is the perfect chrisp that holds the sauce so well!”

“The staff were great, the service was great given how busy they were. However a situation arose with another customer, a regular apparently whom appeared to have been drinking and thought it was acceptable to create an altercation (in front of his grandchildren) between himself and 4 older lady’s, make a scene and yell at other guests including myself for stepping in and asking him to keep it down and take his problem outdoors. They were very busy and I get it he was frustrated, but this created an uncomfortable environment and he continued to do so to the point where we had to leave before our food arrived. I felt bad for the staff.”

We couldn’t imagine having a better meal in the lakes region. The setting was just perfect. We were able to sit outside which matched the vibe we wanted for our lake wedding.
