“My husband took me here last night for our Aniversary. He knows I love duck. We were greeted at the door and sat us right away. Our waiter Andrew kept us content with making sure everything was fine with the appetizers drinks entrees and the dessert. The food was amazing. The duck was excellent and my husband's short ribs were delicious. I would definitely go back again. We went early and still made reservations which I suggest you make as I heard this place gets packed on the weekends.“

“My wife and I were in the area. Stopped for a late breakfast. Spacious, clean and friendly. Decor was local, natural and fun. Loved the light covers that appeared to be blue sky with occasional puffy clouds. Nice touch. Our server was amazing. Im not sure how her name is spelled but I think it was close to Ava (ah-va). Super friendly, good humor, very attentive. I did not have to ask for any of my 3 coffee refills. :) but not overly aggressive. I love dipping my toast in over easy eggs. First bite was noticeably good. I know you think eggs are eggs but my wife got scrambled and had the same reaction. Yum. Toast was hot and crispy. Bacon thick cut and crispy not burned. Average sausage patty. Thin ham with crispy edge was a nice difference. French toast was thick buttery with a healthy cinnamon taste. Home fries crispy with a light seasoning. And hollandaise was thick not oily. Prices were competitive not the cheapest but certainly not to expensive. GREAT breakfast :)“

“I hadn't been here for quite a while. I met a friend and we wanted a place to catch up that wasn't too loud. This was perfect. I had nachos with chicken and only ate 1/2 the order. My friend had the lobster roll and said it was good. Some wines & beers were $5 until 4:00. We sat at about 3:45 and were able to tzke advantage of the discount. Our server was pleasant and attentive. I will return to try another menu item.“

“First time here and pleasently surprised about everything about this place.
First and foremost the food was exceptional for a pizza place. Everything we order was delicious, well prepared and well presented. I'm not really a pizza kind of guy because I am always routinely disappointed with the preparation, especially when it comes to ordering toppings. Most places in my experience have been very cheap and conservatively chintzy with their toppings. When you're paying a dollar plus for each topping you expect hopefully to see your money's worth of toppings. Well this place did not disappoint. I was blown away by the generous proportions of toppings that were put on my pizza. Everything from the dough, cheese and toppings made for the most delicious pizza I have ever had in a long long time.
It was also a very pleasant place to enjoy our dining. Kept very clean, very roomy, very welcoming and a lot bigger inside than I expected the place to be from the looks of the outside of the building.
I can't wait to return to order some of their other menu offerings.“

“I have been singing the praises of Gordos for years and have just realized I haven't officially reviewed it. Shame on me! This place is unreal. Mermaid murals set the vibe for the unexpected. The food here is amazing. Hands down some of the best burritos I have ever eaten in New England. Dining in gets you fantastic atmosphere, a choice of tastey salsas-sauces, and great service. Take out is more of the same, but you miss the Mermaids. I have never had bad food from here. From the burgers to the nachos, it is clear that Gordos makes their food with love.“

“Have dined here a couple times and the food was delicious, great service and cozy atmosphere. When it came time to need to host a private event here I couldn't be happier with how Kate and her team handled everything. Kate cares and it showed from our first conversation, during the meeting to plan, communication in between and wrapping things up after the event. Her staff working the event were also very friendly, efficient and kept things running smoothly. You can absolutely trust her and her team to handle your event. Everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the Railpenny Tavern that day and wanted to come back. We couldn't be happier with how our everything turned out. Thank you Kate and team! BUT, we went there based on the band description and the reviews on the "night life". What a disappointment!! We honestly didn't even bother to wait for the band to start playing because the room was filled with geriatrics!!!! Not 1 person even close to our age. And the bathroom was disgusting!!! That says a LOT about the owners. They seemed nice but were too busy chatting it up to address the bathroom issues. I might give it 1 more try next summer when we can hang out outside. Not a great night life kind of place for younger people but the food was good. It's an in and out kind of place IMO. I was looking for someplace FUN to hang out for a while after dinner! We should have left when we walked in and noticed that one of the waitresses had her shirt rolled up and tucked under like a belly shirt and had booty shorts on as that's very unprofessional. “I got the szechuan style lo mein noodles, it wasn’t spicy and had chicken, beef and shrimp with chillie peppers seasoning in it. It was tasty but I wouldn’t eat their shrimp again. Also the portions are good with most plates, and the prices are normal.
