“We love this pizza! I’m picky about bread and sauce and this place nails both. Nice chewy crust and sauce isn’t too sweet. The Greek pizza with grilled chicken added is fantastic. They have a good winter large pizza specials too. Food is always ready for pick up and staff are always friendly. We’re lucky to have them in Grantham!”

“It's like going to someone's house and getting a home cooked meal. And fresh mango squeezed juice without extra sugar. And homemade habanero hot sauce. Creole chicken and jerk oxtail stew to round out the meal. Very delicious.”

“The meat rightfully gets the spotlight in most reviews, and it is superb! But I feel like more love should be given to their Caesar salad. A full Caesar with pulled chicken is my go-to on days when I just can't deal with fixing an adult meal (one that includes healthy protein and vegetables).

Every time, Poor House bails me out, and I feel re-energized. I'm very grateful to have this option close to home. The staff is always pleasant, and dining in is very comfortable - although I usually do takeout. It's my favorite local food source. 💓”

“My daughter and I went there for dinner last night. We were promptly greeted and seated by smiling faces, however as soon as our waitress came over it was "oh no" right off the bat. We knew she shouldn't be waitressing...she was totally lost and struggling. We waited 1hr for our app and expos kept trying to give us other tables food (probably not their fault). She walked by several times with no acknowledgement of us not having been served anything yet and after seeing every other table in her section have issues...she was suddenly gone. The manager came over and apologized and re-took our order. From that point on things went smoothly. The wings were excellent. My daughter had the Coconut Shrimp Bowl which was plentiful and she said was excellent. I chose the steak with chimichurri sauce, green beans and rice. For the price I think my portions were on the small side, but very tasty. We thought a comp on at least the wings for the extremely long wait would've been appreciated, but I paid the bill and left a great tip attributing it to growing pains. Decor was super updated and fresh. Love the fish sconces on the walls! A few kinks to work out, but what new place doesn't. We will try it again.”

“My wife and I stopped here after having been to an appointment at Dartmouth. We had the It's not you, it's me burger with fresh cuts fries and Bob's VT maple grilled with Judy's hand battered onion rings. Let me just tell you.....EVERYTHING WAS DELICIOUS!! We had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Josh, who was very pleasant! Although he wouldn't give up his onion ring recipe as it was his mom's recipe. (I've never in my life had onion rings that good!)The atmosphere and service was excellent as well. We will definitely visit again!”

“Great restaurant located right on three lake. Seafood, burgers, salads, and other options. For dessert ice cream and milkshakes. Charming place with a lot of history. If you have a boat you can also dock directly at the restaurant and walk right in. Highly recommend!”

“Best pizza in the area. Specialty pizzas are tasty. I do ‘build your own’ style. Cauliflower crust pizzas are good too. Salads are good. Sandwiches are great. Pulled pork is my go-to. Hot dogs- also a tasty treat. Took my family there to dine in one time. Everyone was happy with the food, service and atmosphere. I’d say it’s kid friendly as well. Friendly staff. Highly recommend!”

“We did a 60 mile bike ride on a nearby rail trail. We were starving when we finished. Wildwood smokehouse definitely satisfied us. Food was absolutely delicious! Can’t wait Togo back during snowmobile season. Staff were extremely welcoming!”
