“Cute restaurant with great food and events. I love the chicken Parmesan here - crispy and perfect al dente pasta. Decent selection of beer and wide selection of dishes.”
“Me and my family eat here often as it’s our local go too when not wanting to travel. Good food reasonably priced. Would have gave 5 stars if they would bring back there steak and cheese grinder which is one of the best around.”
“I was in early yesterday. There was a young lady there by herself. She did an amazing job (like always) but she was literally the only one working. She was not daunted by the tasks or by what the day might have been, but rather smiled and said "I've got this." This morning she was accompanied by another associate. I asked how it went, she replied it went very well. I should also mention that, although I'm new to the area, she has already learned my order. Great Job!”
“Honestly the woodfired sausage egg & cheddar on Portuguese muffin is the best breakfast sandwich ive ever had and Ive tried hundreds. Wish they were open on the weekends too but that doesn't stop me from coming here”
“The cookies are absolutely out of this world!! I finally got over there for the first time today, as I've heard so many good things about it! Katie's Cookies surpasses all my hopes for flavor, softness, size & pricing. This place is 100% a must try!”
“The wings are out of this world!!! Great local restaurant and pub that takes pride in their quality of barbecue, and also takes care to make sure you enjoy the Poor House experience!”
“Cute hangout spot for coffee and sandwiches. It gets crowded so be prepared to wait in line. The team there is super friendly, and always helping with a smile. Delicious pastries and plenty seating on benches out front. Located right in front of the park so great place for family.”
“Super friendly and great food! We have ordered Togo multiple times, and every time the food is excellent and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. The Green Curry is my personal favorite! Excellent Vegan options.Vegetarian options: Great Vegan options as well.”
“Was invited out for dinner here with friends and was very impressed. The restaurant is extremely clean, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was great, and the service was excellent.”
“My husband and I are frequent flyers at Pim's. Everything we've tried on the menu is absolutely fab. The service is always fast and friendly. I recommend the Tom Kha soup, panang curry, beef Pho, and anything with duck. Plus, they have sake!”
“I love everything about this store. It's sells homemade goods, smoked cheese from local farms, their homemade donuts are a family hit, I love their maple cookies, hot foods are good sized.. The employees are friendly and welcoming.”
“Friendly, fast service and owner on site. We have been quite often and food fresh and delicious. So convenient to have a local restaurant with indoor and spacious outdoor seating.”
“Wow, what a fantastic taco place! Driving through the area, was looking for something quick, so so glad we stopped here. We got the carnitas, shrimp, cod, and chicken tacos. The street style and taqueria style were both good. Fresh tortillas!! Yes!! The shrimp and carnitas were incredible. Definitely recommend and looking forward to coming back sometime soon”
“Pho is really outstanding. Nothing in this area comes close, and it's better than pho I've had at Vietnamese places in Boston and San Francisco. It's one size, not a huge portion but damn it's good. The curry dishes are all delicious. Haven't had the banh mi, but the house sandwich is very tasty. Chicken satay is tender and pounded really thin. The spring rolls are crunchy and made fresh to order. To the reviewer who said the pad thai was not authentic: it's tasty and looks like what Pai made in her Hot Thai Kitchen video. It's not a gloopy brick of orange noodles, which is what Americanized pad thai seems to have become. Having said that, if you really want Thai food there are some good Thai restaurants just over the river in the Hanover/West Lebanon area. I'm partial to Pim's Thai Orchid, but there are several to choose from.”
“So cool that you can boat to this restaurant! The food was really good - probably the best stripped clams we've tasted. The onion rings were amazing. The staff was very friendly and informative. We'll be back to enjoy this place again - by land and by water!”
“The jerk chicken here is soo good. It falls right off the bone and is a great blend of smokey and a little heat. The rice and beans it's served with also had a lot of flavor. Much better than a lot of places which treat the sides as an afterthought. Wish we lived closer!”
“Me and my son just had an amazing dinner here. From service, to atmosphere, and food quality, everything was beyond our satisfaction. Please don’t let the crazy people’s bad reviews turn you away. This is truly one of our favorite spots.”
“My family has enjoyed the many offerings of the Sunapee Pizza Chef for literally decades. Their hard work year in and year out is nothing if not admirable. Huge asset to the Sunapee community. Thank you!!”
“Pizzas are very good. Thin crust, well baked. Very large for one person.Got the special barbecue bacon and vegetarian quarto stagione. Both were very good.Loved that the veggie one was packed w delicious veggies.Friendly service. Large restaurant.Sat in back room w birthday dinner.”
“Solid local spot with sandwiches and more made by a bunch of very nice brothers. They're feeding all the drivers, tradespeople, and passers-thru, so expect a bit of a wait. Food was exceptional for take-away lunch. Not just heaps of protein but great add-ons and flavors. Worth a revisit.”
“The food here is always great and ready when they say it will be!I usually get the sesame chicken or sweet and sour chicken and it’s always of quality- not super chewy/fatty like some other places. I’d also recommend the fried dumplings.”
“Idk why this place has 4.1 star overall rating it deserves a 5 star overall rating for sure they are very friendly fair prices and hands down have the best pizza outside of New York highly recommend coming ”
“The people at Protectworth Brewing genuinely appeared to know and love what they do. It's obvious that they put a lot of thoughts and effort into their beers and have pride in it. The way they do flights was fun, as you take one of those glass holders, put numbers corresponding to various types of the beers they have on their menu, then you take it to them and they fill it. The beers themselves are really good and some of the most unique brews I've tasted compared to some of the larger breweries around. There was ample seating and it's a nice place to spend time relaxing with some beer. They are a smaller brewery, but don't let that deter you from dropping by.”
“Been going here for about 25 years and its hands down the best Chinese in the upper valley. When I was seriously craving fried rice and they were closed I tried other places and ended up throwing it out, just can't compare. The owner was taught a way when he opened and has kept that method which delivers consistently delicious food. Peter knows most his customers as many have been loyal for decades because of The consistency of how good his food is. Sadly we only have about 2 years before he retires and we lose the best Chinese I have every had.”
“This place is a hidden gem. The food (at least what I've had) is so delicious and well-made, and Courtney the bartender is awesome! I highly recommend to anyone in the areaVegetarian options: Falafel wrap, butternut squash ravioli, artichoke dip”
“I love that I can walk though the door get greeted with a hello and them saying are you having your usual? Sometimes I even tell the staff to just make something ( they get to know you). They have this down to a science. I see there are new faces from time to time and mistakes do happen but the management team are always prompt and helpful”
“Get a fresh, custom-assembled sandwich. Lots of choices. Not exactly high-end meats, but still fine for lunch. Staff did a great job, and we're very friendly. The eating area was not bad, but a bit cluttered with supplies from the enclosing convenience store. Tables could have been cleaned a bit more.”
“Super duper awesome Wings and fries. Yummy yummer. The ambiance was perfect. It has a certain je ne sais quoi. A réminiscence. Oui oui oui!! Service was comme si comme ça”
“The folks and the food were amazing! Open storage areas and poor lighting brought down the atmosphere. Need to take a critical eye to how it feels to a first time ”
“Thank you so much for making our day more special. You opened early and welcomed us (20) for a nice breakfast and made a young girl's morning more memorable. Your service and flexibility was appreciated.”
