It was pleasant, seems to have their own following. Pizza seemed popular, planning on returning to try it.

I have to say… Forbes Tavern has taken a turn for the BETTER over the past year or two! We dine-in often and appreciate the great service and delicious menu options. Regular entertainment in the bar area is great and appreciated as well. Aside from the lack of any appealing visual aesthetic -which Forbes inherited- could probably improve the ambience by dimming the lights and adding candlelight, fabric table cloths and wall art. We continue to go back regularly because of the great food and service though so keep it up Forbes Tavern! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

We enjoyed the takeout side dishes on Thanksgiving and will probably do this again next year. We appreciate that they are a la carte, so we can fit them around the items we really love to cook. Plenty to share with friends too!

If you want to overpay for food they don't take care to make then go here. Pizza burned. I have pictures but can't post them here.

We were in for dinner last evening and as someone that's been in the restaurant business for over 30 years and trained in New York. I really didn't appreciate being treated like second class citizens by certain members of your front of the house staff. I was extremely patient with the fact that there was a party of ten in the tavern that night. Knowing that would slow things down that night. They way our food came out was like we were trying to be shoved out the door. We barely had our apps in front of us, as our entrees were being placed down. My husband was satisfied with the sushi bowl with ahi tuna. My mushrooms with polenta, had too much rosemary, sauce had no viscosity to it and laked over all salt. We heard your spot on the radio and that was what brought us to your establishment. We will not be returning and will not be recommending it to anyone.

Great local dining spot with beautiful deck view overlooking the golf course. Fun relaxed atmosphere, kid friendly and a nice bar with drinks selection. Menu is good for casual dining. Friendly attentive staff, with fun mid week events like trivia night, comedy nights, Cornhole, etc. Some cranky people like to complain about anything but they don't appreciate how good they have it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Forbes. Not "fine dining" so if that is what you are looking for then suggest exploring for a more expensive place. Forbes is fun and great!

We live in Eastman and we've been eating here more often lately. The deck overlooking the 18th hole in the summer is fun and sometimes they have music. The pizza is much improved over a few years ago. We really like the ARUGULA PROSCIUTTO pizza. Salads are good. I've had an eggplant sandwich that was good. Draft beer prices are excellent. Jerk Wings were dry. Often the menu changes with specials they are trying out. The service is great, friendly atmosphere. A place you can hang out and relax. The restaurant is open to the public and you don't even have to be a golfer to grab a lunch, dinner or just a drink at the bar.

Vegetarian options: Sushi bowls and salads

Parking: There is an overflow lot if needed.

Kid-friendliness: Kid's menu

Cute restaurant with great food and events. I love the chicken Parmesan here - crispy and perfect al dente pasta. Decent selection of beer and wide selection of dishes.

One of our go-to places! It's close to home but we wouldn't go if the food wasn't delicious. The staff is friendly and the clientele can be talkative if you enjoy that. They also do trivia every Wednesday and football on Sundays during the NFL season with a special appetizer menu.

Dietary restrictions: Ask and they will accommodate.

Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome and the kids' menu is good. They sometimes do special nights for families
