Forbes Tavern & Events at The Center at Eastman

I had mango salmon with sides of asparagus and mashed potatoes. The salmon was scrumptious and moist. The asparagus was nicely grilled and I enjoyed that the mashed potatoes included the skins. The waitress gave me a complimentary portion of broccoli as that was the side I actually order but I did not ask her to do. Regardless, it too, was nicely prepared - steamed. So for $27 I had what I would consider a healthy and tasty meal plus there was live acoustic guitar music- you can’t shake a stick at that!!

Classic 19 hole establishment in the bar area. Nothing really stood out on the menu. I opted for the jerk chicken fingers and their fried pickles. The chicken had great flavor as did the dipping sauce for the pickles. Our drinks were as expected. The wait staff was attentive and friendly.

My wife and I had our baby shower here. Very reasonably priced and the catering was on point. Really good communication from the owners and staff throughout the process also! Would definitely recommend for a small to medium sized party!

Google stated it was open, however it was in fact closed. We will go a day its open to give a proper review

I am hesitant to give forbes even 1 star. Every. Single. Time. We order take out they screw up the order. Everytime. They overcharge for half the food. They do not train their employees on how to take orders. Apparently that must be very difficult. It just isn't worth it. Go someplace else. Just don't go there.

We were led here by Google Maps and were surprised to be in a clubhouse overlooking the 18th green of a golf course. Open to anyone, so we enjoyed a peaceful lunch in a very quiet dining room.
We observed some of the golfers freely picked up their ball rather than make a short putt to finish.

We live in Grantham and love the Tavern. The food is always good, fun drinks, nice staff, good atmosphere! The sunsets are amazing!

Excellent service. Excellent food. Bartenders are some of the best in the area. Great place for a quick meal.

Recommended dishes: Sushi Bowl, Fried Pickles

It was pleasant, seems to have their own following. Pizza seemed popular, planning on returning to try it.

I have to say… Forbes Tavern has taken a turn for the BETTER over the past year or two! We dine-in often and appreciate the great service and delicious menu options. Regular entertainment in the bar area is great and appreciated as well. Aside from the lack of any appealing visual aesthetic -which Forbes inherited- could probably improve the ambience by dimming the lights and adding candlelight, fabric table cloths and wall art. We continue to go back regularly because of the great food and service though so keep it up Forbes Tavern! I would highly recommend this restaurant.
