I have to say… Forbes Tavern has taken a turn for the BETTER over the past year or two! We dine-in often and appreciate the great service and delicious menu options. Regular entertainment in the bar area is great and appreciated as well. Aside from the lack of any appealing visual aesthetic -which Forbes inherited- could probably improve the ambience by dimming the lights and adding candlelight, fabric table cloths and wall art. We enjoyed the takeout side dishes on Thanksgiving and will probably do this again next year. We appreciate that they are a la carte, so we can fit them around the items we really love to cook. Plenty to share with friends too!
Great local dining spot with beautiful deck view overlooking the golf course. Fun relaxed atmosphere, kid friendly and a nice bar with drinks selection. Menu is good for casual dining. Friendly attentive staff, with fun mid week events like trivia night, comedy nights, Cornhole, etc. Some cranky people like to complain about anything but they don't appreciate how good they have it. I don't think you'll be disappointed with Forbes. Not "fine dining" so...
