“Place was great early on and even through Covid. Recently prices spiked and food prep went down a notch. Seems like they’re more picky with their waiter/waitress selection than quality of their chefs. Polished concrete floor just makes it way too loud to have a descent conversation, especially when you have a table full of over-served knuckleheads next to you.

And as a reviewer mentioned below, they way over-salt. The batter on the calamari was so over-salted to the point we couldn’t even eat it. I also had the halibut recently and it was way overcooked and way over-salted. They need more quality control coming out of the kitchen.“

“Inmy opinion, when spending your hard and money going out for dinner.The quality of the experience should far exceed what you can produce in your own environment or with friends.
I have yet to be disappointed in my many outings to the copper door where any menu offering has not far exceeded my expectations .Most recently having the ribeye. It was one of the best pieces of steak I’ve ever had in my adult life. The staff is always cordial and punctual, and they haven’t missed a beat yet. The environment is excellent for conversation and laughs worth every penny 5 stars thank you for upholding, strong American values and quality and service.“

“Had work lunch catered with a couple day notice. They helped me plan my menu, gave me ideas. It was so easy. Food was ready and hot when I picked it up. What a hit, there was barely anything left and people kept coming up to me saying how wonderful it was. The fried chicken is always delish but boy was the chicken parm and other foods amazing!!! “Stopped in for the first time and sat on the patio. We had a juicy crispy chicken sandwich and a crispy haddock sandwich (maybe too oily but not disappointingly) and we were served a complementary indulgent fried ice cream dessert while finishing up. “Had a wonderful Valentine’s Day dinner here. Everything was awesome! Chicken wings, shrimp Alfredo and chicken pot pie was all sooo good. Dinner rolls were to die for. However, the highlight of the evening was our awesome waiter Aaron! So polite, funny and attentive, even recommended a dessert (Mississippi mud pie) which did not disappoint!“

“My husband took me here last night for our Aniversary. He knows I love duck. We were greeted at the door and sat us right away. Our waiter Andrew kept us content with making sure everything was fine with the appetizers drinks entrees and the dessert. The food was amazing. The duck was excellent and my husband's short ribs were delicious. I would definitely go back again. We went early and still made reservations which I suggest you make as I heard this place gets packed on the weekends.“
