Last night we celebrated my husbands 80th birthday at Kingston 1686 House. There were 17 of us. I can’t speak highly enough about the wonderful experience we had. Owner Marlene worked with me throughout the entire planning and actual event. Christie was fantastic with her seamless service. Food was excellent. I recommend this place for a quiet dinner, or a large event.
We came without reservations early Friday night, the parking lot was almost full, but we were seated in a very quiet room facing the side street. Only when we were leaving did other folks show up in our room. Our waitress was very pleasant.The prime rib was thin, but very tender, which my husband liked the best. We were there for our 56th Anniversary. The meal and service were great. We sat in the Tavern. We go there every year and have never been disappointed. This year was especially awesome because a wonderful person paid for our meal and it wasn’t cheap.. who does that? What a wonderful surprise. Thank you to the wonderful person that did that, very much appreciated .
