I was thrilled to see so many options for me with several food intolerances. It is so apparent just how much love and hard work the co-owners put into their business. They were genuinely interested in my feedback on the smoothie and clearly care about a positive customer experience. While I waited for my smoothie, I had the loveliest conversation with Sophia, the young woman working the register. I enjoyed learning more about the menu and what some of her favorites are. They definitely appear as if you've interrupted an important tiktok video and are annoyed at your presence. “We looked at a lot of different restaurant options for dinner. I’m so glad we decided on Old Ferry Landing!!!! The food was fantastic!!! Drinks were summery and unique 🧉🍹 The lobster bisque was the best I’ve ever had!!!! And there was a great amount of lobster meat in it. I tried a bite of my boyfriend’s clam chowder as well which was also delicious but the bisque was 🤤😍 We will definitely be back!!!! Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet!!! It was so nice to dine at a place that’s been around for 50 years. I hope Old Ferry Landing is around for 50 more!!! 🦞“

“I remember when the cafe was under construction 🚧. I finally had a chance to visit and I am glad I did!
Very friendly service. I had the Upstream with an Asiago bagel 🥯 with smoked salmon, pickled onion 🧅, avocado 🥑 and chive cream cheese. Delicious 😋!
The service really shined when I asked if they had chocolate 🥐 croissants. I was offered a Nutella Croissant which is a croissant sliced with Nutella in the center. Strawberries 🍓 are sliced and placed with it. Also delicious!
The medium roast drip coffee ☕ was really good!
Both my orders were brought to where I was sitting. The inside is nice 👍 with window 🪟 and couch 🛋️ seating.
Update: August 2025; The Cable Asiago Bagel 🥯 Sandwich was delicious 😋! I am not a fan of blueberry 🫐 muffins but the one I had was heated and served with a tasty butter 🧈. It washed down my coffee ☕ rather well!

“Lots of options for vegans with a separate vegan menu. I had the vegan spinach feta breakfast sandwich, which included scrambled tofu and pesto. My husband had the vegan cowboy breakfast. Definitely what we needed. All very tasty and it was prepared quickly. I will definitely be back next time I’m in Newburyport.“
