fish and chips was way overcooked. ordered manhattans straight up with dirty rocks. seems they dont know what dirty rocks are. just got plain ice on the side. wasnt very busy but waited quite a while for food. had to ask once where is the food. lobster roll special had maybe three oz of lobster. manager tried to comp us dessert. we declined and left. they could have done better.
Was in town for a wedding and stopped by Murphy’s. Everything you want out of a dining experience. Fish and Chips were some of the best I’ve ever had. If I am ever in town again will 100% swing by!
Food is delicious and consistent. Really the only worthy place for a good meal in Hanover other than the Hanover Inn. Delicious starter cauliflower miso is our favorite. Main courses are value for money and deep tasty flavors , well presented. Very enjoyable especially if you get a window seat. Inside towards the bar is a little too dark / high tables. Would welcome some big salads on the menu in the summer. Odd that tables are always sticky. I think it's the surface rather...
