“Always great classic American comfort food, with some creative specials tossed in. Service has always been top notch, but on those crazy nights staff can get a little over whelmed, never bad service just slower than usual. Never had a bad meal or a bad drink. The French Onion soup is very good, the very rare special,Cabbage Roll Soup is incredible!!!! I could go there for just that. The soup of the day soup specials are always a highlight for me, and a good way to try something you have never had before. The building once was a sock factory there old photos and artifacts from its past on the walls. Its Hillsboro's best eatery for sure, and one of the best in the area. Call ahead its always busy, But worth the wait.”

“My daughter and son in law took us there today. Wow! The people were so nice! Food was excellent! There was absolutely nothing you could complain about! If you want a five star fancy place. This isn't it, but if your looking for a comfortable atmosphere and great food, very reasonably priced you can't beat this place! We will definitely be back when we visit our daughter and son in law! “This is seasonal. Hot dogs, hamburgers, fries, onion rings. You know the drill. You can make this at home or spend a couple of dollars on the side of the road and eat on the canopied picnic tables. Quick and easy. Tastes like summer.

“We got a large pizza which was very good. However, we got a "large" order of wings and only got 7 and they were small and overcooked and chewy. Flavor was good on the wings just couldn't even eat them from being overcooked almost all the meat was cooked off and what was left was hard and chewy.”

“I had gone in at noon to get some lunch. It was very busy, but I got my food fast. The food was good and warm. Only complaint is the prices, high prices for so little. Overall a pretty good time though.”

“We were delighted the good folks at Blue Bear fit us in for dinner on Smoked Prime Rib night. Cute farmhouse with a refined atmosphere. Our server Natalie was extremely friendly and helpful. We split the fried cheese curds which were perfectly crisp and gooey. For dinner we both had the smoked prime rib, which had a nice smokey flavor and was perfectly medium rare. Horseradish crema was delicious. My wife was able to get mixed veggies substituted for her asparagus. Our server even tracked me down in the parking lot because I left my hat. We will be back on our next visit!”

“Model for the brewery. Outdoor seating complemented with a rotating food truck (pictured is Teenie Weenies). Plenty of indoor seating oft accompanied by live music and a friendly behind the bar pup. Must try for capital area or anyone venturing in from the West.”

“My husband and I have been trying to find a decent Chinese place since we moved to southern New Hampshire. These guys are the best so far! Food was light ( not greasy) we had the pork lo Mein, pork fried rice, egg rolls, dumplings, chicken fingers, and beef teriyaki. All we’re very tasty particularly the lo mein, rice egg rolls and chicken fingers. But what made it particularly lovely was the kind and welcoming family/ owners who stopped to chat with us. The daughter who helped us was a particular delight. NOTE: they currently do not have sit down service ( take out only) but they have tables you can sit at to eat, so not much of a difference. Go ahead and give it a try!”
