“The food was okay. I ordered general tso lunch with pork fried rice and chicken fingers. The chicken in the general tso was dry and chewy like it was overcooked slightly. When you walk in, there is a table where you pick up your food, no inside dining. Overall it was okay, no great, not horrible, just okay.”
“They never have enough vanilla creme but chocolate and strawberry creme would be awesome... Please try to carry more or variety on these items... Great service plus!!!!Vegetarian options: DonutsDietary restrictions: Muffins bran etcKid-friendliness: Be real it's Dunkin Donuts ?Wheelchair accessibility: Ramp... Flat... And clear plus doors open with push button”
“This is a cute little coffee stop with excellent quality drinks. Highly recommended for a delightful drink. The iced maple coffee and the moca were outstanding.”
“A friend took me here for lunch one day and I ordered chicken quesadillas which I think is the best I've ever had. The service was great and prompt. They serve a good selection of beverages and prices I thought were very good. They do have seating so you can eat in or take with you. I'll definitely make it one of my regular stops and I hope you enjoy everything like I did. Stop by and check it out.Dietary restrictions: I'm a diabetic so everything I eat is a dietary meal.Parking: It's in a small mall with plenty of parking.Kid-friendliness: This place is very relaxed and booths that makes it easy and simple.Wheelchair accessibility: They are on the first floor.”
“Situated in the rural woods of Dublin in a 250+ year old house, Del Rossi’s is a uniquely New Hampshire version of an Italian restaurant. The good:Nice atmosphere with live music on weekends, good food with decent sized portions, plenty of options for vegetarian and gluten free individuals, INCREDIBLE dessert offeringsNeeds work:The table bread is pretty underwhelming and the dirt parking lot gets quite muddy when it’s wet outDietary restrictions: They have gluten free pasta available”
“Such a great little taco spot! I would say it's a hole in the wall, but that makes it sound dumpy. We love stopping in at Taco Beyondo if we are passing through Hillsboro, usually on our way to Brattleboro or Rockingham in Vermont.”
“We were pleasantly surprised by the ambiance, the service and the food. If you are looking for a place to have a memorable meal where you feel like you went on vacation , this is your place. We will go back again and again and hopefully convince them to open another location in our hometown”
“FIVE STARS FOR FIDDLEHEADS THURSDAY SUPPER!Breakfast and lunch were already excellent at this charming cafe in picturesque Hancock, New Hampshire—with incredible homemade muffins, donuts, cookies, salads, eggs and sandwiches. But now they’re branching out for dinners too.For those of you who were lucky enough to try Fiddleheads first Thursday Night Supper, cleverly named "Waxing Crescent" after the moon, congratulations! For everyone else, you too can get lucky when the suppers resume the Thursday after Thanksgiving.Cozy romantic lighting and the quirky tea towel curtains transformed the bustling cafe into a calm and cozy retreat.Every dish our party of five had was a delight.Blue Hubbard and Ginger Soup was proclaimed, "Maybe the best soup I've ever had." Instead of the usual gooey, cheesey, thick soup often encountered with squash, Fiddlehead's was a robustly flavored broth that showcased the nutty Hubbard and spoke of rich leafy Fall.Sumac Pickled Onion and Fennel Salad was sharp and crisp and in an unexpected counter point, larded with shreds of tender duck confit.Garrigue Kippered Salmon with Fresh Radish and Pickled Beat was lightly smoked and resting on a bed of hard cooked egg and dilly cream. This dish took one directly to a heathery streambank in Scottish Highland where it may have been prepared right after being caught. The entrees we had, Chicken Milanese with roasted cauliflower, caper, lemon and shaved apple with spicy greens and a Red Wine Braised Short Rib with dried fruit, arugula gremolata on a pond of black peppered polenta were completely satisfying--the richness of the meat, set off and highlighted by sharp contrasts of sour, bitter and sweet accents of vegetable, herb and sauce, lingered.Cranberry and Lime Curd Tart is a revelation that should be on everyone's Thanksgiving table from now on. Roasted Apple Cobbler with salted caramel and sweet rosemary biscuit and vanilla ice cream is the Platonic ideal of an apple dessert. And calling the flourless, espresso flavored, boozy orange cream topped dessert simply "Chocolate Cake" is a funny way of disguising a plate that no one could stop eating. The wine list is perfect--small, focused and affordable. And if beer is your preferred beverage the representation is as varied and food friendly as you could want.I don't believe I've had a better meal in the whole Monadnock Region. And the price was as good or better than many.If we all say our prayers or nicely ask Santa, Fiddleheads Thursday supper will spread over the whole weekend. But for now, pick a Thursday and GO.”
“This place was great. It's just this little tiny stand on the road. But I really enjoyed eating there. They had some really good food and their fries are all fresh cut which I really like. Plus their steak fries. They're very friendly and their priced very reasonable. Will definitely come back”
“The food was ok. I had the meatloaf. Others at my table and had the meatloaf and said it was great. It wasn't. But the rice pilaf that came with it was amazing. The place was cute. Very clean. Packed with locals. Friendly service. I would definitely go back, but for the steak and more yummy pilaf!”
“I've gotten some sandwhiches I didn't love but their breakfast options NEVER fail to impress. I'm obsessed with their breakfast burritos but sometimes I don't order in time to get them. (Correction, breakfast ends11 am Tuesday-Friday, on Saturday and Sunday we end at 12.)I wish they were open all day long, but they're an amazing breakfast/brunch/lunch spot in town. The staff is super friendly and amazing, they all work hard, and the cook makes this amazing homemade honey mustard that is to die for.”
“This restaurant is in an adorable inn, and I loved it right off the bat. The owner was really friendly, as was all the waitstaff. Creative and delicious menu- I got their seasonal special galette.”
“This family-owned, American restaurant is a welcoming and family-friendly place to visit in this village town of Henniker. The remarkable front of house staff are the ones who work hard on their own feet to make the customers feel welcomed, both general areas at the wooden booths and the high-seated tables. The driven back of house staff are the ones who give their own culinary skills to craft such wonderfully made and inspired meals for each customer to experience and provide an enjoyable meal. May you find the needed inspiration to your next well-liked meal as you read over their daily menu and include their own weekly food specials.Additionally, the owners have been working hard to host weekly social events. I encourage you to ask the helpful staff to help you explore your options of entertainment, to be encouraged to round up your friends and family, and to schedule a night of excitement and fun. If you so happen to be a traveler or a regular local person in the surrounding area, I encourage you to walk inside for a hearty meal and/or for a fizzy drink at the bar with a silver screen.Enjoy your next visit at the Rustic Rose Tavern. May you be delighted to see yourself visiting this rosebud of a place, again, soon.”
“I ordered a pu pu platter for 2 and it was excellent. I also ordered a large wonton soup and it had lots of veggies and wonton it was delicious. I got a small house fried rice. The rice had bits of ham, shrimp, chicken, pork and veggies in it, it was delicious. I also ordered general tso chicken and the sauce was spicy and tangy like I expected, the chicken was moist and the breading even, the broccoli was crispy. Great experience today at Sampan take out. I also like that they had small containers of hot mustard on the table and you could grab what you want.”
“Food was great - we've always loved Grappelli's, even more so with the new owners. We had the Pizza of the Month and it was so tasty! However it was our first time dining in, and I was a little disappointed for the following reason - we had our 10-month-old daughter with us, and as it turns out, Grappelli's isn't so family-friendly. We had just driven an hour to meet family for lunch, and we immediately needed a diaper change. I headed back to the restroom to find no area to change my daughter. Thankfully, I had a changing pad in our bag, and changed my daughter on the bathroom floor (yuck). We came out from the bathroom to sit down for lunch, and unfortunately no highchairs were available. The food was awesome, but the dining-in experience left me not wanting to return because I felt it was not baby-friendly! Otherwise, absolutely no complaints. Just a heads up to anyone with toddlers/babies!Kid-friendliness: Not baby-friendly.”
“Family friendly environment with a couple of great outdoor spaces for nice weather. Fast, friendly service. Great rotation of regional beers. The turkey club is consistently delicious as is the blackened chicken sandwich, the weekly specials typically have something for everyone”
“I havn't found a meal I love here yet, but they have so many options, and my husband and I both love the Hobo (he always orders and I eat off his plate.)The staff is amazing and super friendly. This is our favorite diner outside the one in our own town. HIghly recommend eating here!”
“My husband and I went to dinner. We started with fried pickles as an appetizer, then I had the chicken stir fry (listed as a special), and he had a steak and cheese sub with onion rings. The food came out quickly and our server was friendly.”
“My daughter and son in law took us there today. Wow! The people were so nice! Food was excellent! There was absolutely nothing you could complain about! If you want a five star fancy place. This isn't it, but if your looking for a comfortable atmosphere and great food, very reasonably priced you can't beat this place! We will definitely be back when we visit our daughter and son in law! Thank you for a great meal!”
“Pat's is the best version of itself: an unpretentious, family-friendly, well-run, convenient and affordable ski area. Small for the region, but they get the most out of it with aggressive snowmaking, fast lift lines, good crowd management and sensible planning, and lights! I grew up night skiing, and this is the best-lit spot in New England, with the most accessible hours. They put their money into the mountain they have, not trying to market themselves as the next Vail (which has done a pretty lame job managing the customer experience at the local properties they've taken over recently!) Pat's website is very AOL-era, but if you know what you're looking for, it's all you need. This probably goes back to getting the basics right, keeping their costs (and prices!) under control, and not trying to show off or bring in the luxury tourism crowd at the expense of the average enthusiast. Very on-brand--wouldn't change a thing. Not the place I'd go for an epic pow weekender, but just what the doctor ordered for most of the season. And it happens to be very pretty, too. If you've got a bad attitude about noobs here to learn the sport you supposedly love, or you need to be spoiled on and off the snow, don't let the door hit you on the way out. If you can chill and appreciate everyday user-friendliness, affordability, and maximizing quality time on the snow over posing or being pampered, you'll love it here.”
“Best drive through around Hillsborough. Very short wait and great service. New manager Sam is the best.Kid-friendliness: No hassle kids customized food and beverageParking: Large location , plenty of parking”
“We were a bit hesitant to try this place because it only had 2.8 stars, but the location was good so we went anyway. It was good!!!! The garlic bread was nicely toasted. The side salad was nothing to write home about. Yawn. We had eggplant parm and chicken parm. So tasty! Nicely breaded not greasy, crispy, just the right amount of sauce.Parking: Easy off street parking”
“I'm not generally a fan of Greek style pizza but I love the cheese on their pizza. I crave it at times. Of the two Greek style places in town, I prefer Pizza Peddler by far. I don't find it too saucy like I do other places. That being said if you like a lot of sauce you might want to ask for extra. Not sure the exact size of the pizza but the largest aren't really that big. And there smalls are, well, small. No medium option. The inside is bright and nothing to write home about but I've never actually eaten there so I can't comment on that experience. Prices seem comparable to every other place in town. The subs are okay but I've only had the steak and cheese.”
“The time share is in an isolated area. That was not a problem for us but maybe for some. It is a quit place with very friendly staff. With a little planning and some travel you can have a very nice time and see different sites.”
“This was a great dining experience. The staff here were very friendly and professional. The coffee was served quickly and the donuts were good. Parking is convenient with a lot out front close to the building. I don't usually get coffee and I have found it interesting how baristas serve it to me. One place gave it to me hot, here they gave it to me iced. Both are good but I never specified how I wanted it. I am looking forward to going back again soon.”
“The food was excellent. The prices were what I would expect. The atmosphere was a little dark. I was by myself and I felt the service was a little slow.Parking: Lot's of free parking.Wheelchair accessibility: Wide door way for a wheelchair to maneuver easily.”
“Place and employees are fast and friendly. They make the drinks as asked for. And even give you a napkin with your straw. We visit every Wednesday as we pass through.”
“I personally don't love the pizza here BUT this place is amazing, the staff and owners are super friendly and easy to work with on speciality foods/pizza's, and they're constantly donating to schools or town festivities. They do so much for the town of Antrim, and for that alone, I support them. They have other foods that arn't pizza, their chicken nuggets are pretty great. :)”
