Our party of 4 adults & 3kids was greeted pleasantly by the hostess who was able to seat us within 10 minutes despite not having reservations on a busy, beautiful late Saturday afternoon. We all ordered different meals and each one was wonderful. Our waitress, Devon, was awesome. Very efficient, friendly and not intrusive but there if we needed anything . Our young grandkids were treated wonderfully by all the staff we encountered. Overall this was a very pleasant experience and did not know what to expect as we are not from the area and it was our first time here. We will definitely return when visiting this area again.

Phenomenal location with great views of the lake! We wanted to love this place, but the food was bland. I opted for the schnitzel, while my husband ordered the lobster mac and cheese. The sauce was good, but the lobster was not fresh—it was just okay. The schnitzel was huge but also average. The server seemed overwhelmed; she mentioned she would bring us bread but forgot. However, given the views, we would be willing to give this place another try—it could have just been an off night.
Also, if you're in town with friends and family, this place is great for large groups!

Beautiful location, right on the road and lake view. Food was good, not 5 stars good but good, food came quick but yet it was cold, I was confused by that. Server was sweet, the martinis are strong. I might give it another try.

Delicious food, not cheap but absolutely worth it! Nice scenery if you are seated by the window looking over the lake. I was in the lounge area for dinner. Great vibe and I was treated so well as a solo-diner.

Very nice, welcoming entrance! Lovely hostess. The dining room where we were seated, (the dining room that is on the entrance level,) needs decor for better ambiance - warm wall paint color, art, local photography. But the spectacular water view draws you right in!! Fortunate to be seated for four at the expansive picture window! Friendly and efficient, caring server. Absolutely fresh, high quality lunch. Delicious. Not easy to find in many nearby towns. It was our first visit to Walter's and we look forward to many more. Our guests were old friends from out of state. Walter's contributed to their enjoyment during their stay and this pleased us very much.

First impression: nice location. We asked for the availability of a vegetarian meal, the person at the reception said only salad available. In their menu, however, they have more vegetarian options available. Pity a bit that they are not aware what they are selling. We have 2 small kids, both below 3. If this is the case for you, don't go there. Our older son finished his meal and started to run a bit. He is any way too young, so if we say don't do this or that, it typically does work only for 1 minute. Then he does again what he likes. We have asked the lady if this is a problem, she said "no, these are kids and boys are anyway like this". Then the person from the reception came and give us the bill and told us that we should leave if we cannot manage to let sit our son. We had to leave the location, although we had not finished our main course. Except that the meals are very tasty, recommendation for those looking for a restaurant for adults only.
