“I had to come here and post a story that happened to a couple buddies and I a few years ago and how helpful muddy moose is . We were out fishing over the long weekend in may, it’s later in the evening and my one buddy says man wouldn’t it be cool to get a poutine ? Of course we all agree so we bust a phone out in the boat, search muddy moose up quick and hit dial not really paying much attention to it . Anyhow some very nice lady answers and we ask if they are still open to which she replies “ yes we are for another 30 min” . Well we’re like game on ! So we ask for three poutines to which the kind lady replies “ what’s a poutine “ answering her question kind of scratching our heads? How could you not know what this is ? Anyhow I’m sure we sounded hick with the frogs, boat motor, and three Canadians chirping each other through the call. She says oh yes we can make that for you and can have it in a bag for when you get here . Well now we are racing across a lake , jumping in a truck , racing down a muddy back road , down the highway , and yes we had about it two minutes to spare when we got to the Moose . When I ran in the door asking for our order a friend of ours is like “ uh dudes the grill has been closed for an hour” ??? We called the wrong muddy moose …. 🫎 we called you guys 1500km away . Woops . We ended up calling back after realizing our mistake , boy did we laugh , the lady couldn’t stop laughing either . We offered to pay over the phone but the lady said it was an honest mistake and a funny one and that she would offer up the poutines for a couple guests in the store . Good times . When I can get down there on my bike I plan on planning a stop just to order a meal .“

“We did not feel rushed at all; however, the four of us don't linger for hours after we have finished with our meal. One and a half hours was perfect timing, and no one told us we had the table for only that time. Food always consistently excellent. Wait staff A+“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely Outstanding! My wife and I went to Barley and Salt tonight and had an incredible experience. We started with the loaded calamari (no cilantro), and it was easily some of the best calamari we’ve ever had, crispy, tender, and packed with flavor thanks to the sweet chili sauce and aioli. Perfect start. For dinner, I had the open-faced chicken piccata, and wow, the chicken was perfectly breaded, the lemon caper sauce was rich and balanced, and the mashed potatoes and focaccia brought it all together. My wife ordered the lamb gyro tacos, and she couldn’t stop raving about them. The lamb was tender and full of flavor, and the cucumber tzatziki and pickled onions were spot on. On top of the great food, our server was fantastic, friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They made the experience even better. Highly recommend Barley and Salt, we’ll definitely be back!“

I didnt know what to get so i told the lady at the counter to make me what eva she wanted to make me as a surprise and wow the coffee was outstanding. “Melanie came to our wedding reception to cater for us, and it was a highlight of our night. It was great to meet her, and the ice cream was a hit! She gracefully came in and set up in a professional manner, ensuring that she was where we wanted you to be. Her timing was great, and we appreciated her patience when we weren't quite ready to start offering dessert at the agreed-upon time. Her service was quick, polite, and respectful. There was plenty of ice cream, which many of our guests enjoyed. This was a great addition to our special night.
She cleaned up and snuck out before I could even notice that she was gone and share our appreciation.
