“When we pass through North Conway village we always stop for sandwiches at Cheese Louise. Their grilled cheese is fantastic and combined with their tomato soup, it is amazing! This is a must-do stop for us!“

“We had Cheese Louise cater our wedding, that had a music festival theme, and they knocked it out of the park! The appetizers were incredible, and everyone loved the variety of the grilled cheeses on the menu. The food really tied the theme together!“

“It was our first time to this restaurant although we frequently come to the area. Our waitress was Addie. She was exceptional, kind, attentive, personable and efficient. Our food was outstanding and we cannot wait to come back next time we are here! Our kids loved how their pictures made the menu covers!!“

Food is mediocre at best, very unbalanced, the dishes were either too salty or drowning in cheese.
Chicken parm comes with a thick cheese layer on top which is really not adding to the dish.
Not a lot of Italian options in the area unfortunately.“

“Black Cap Grille is always our favorite dining spot when we visit N Conway. Great cocktails & delicious food with super nice wait staff. Last night the Prickly Pear Martini & Vegetarian Meatloaf with sweet potato french fries were a nice surprise on the menu & really good. Also my wife appreciated that they have mocktails. Highly Recommend!“

“This is our go-to if we want a fast, satisfying meal. Food is served faster than you expect and its always excellent. Prices are reasonable. Menu is plentiful. The atmosphere is great and usually not a long wait for a table. What's not to love?“

“I had to come here and post a story that happened to a couple buddies and I a few years ago and how helpful muddy moose is . We were out fishing over the long weekend in may, it’s later in the evening and my one buddy says man wouldn’t it be cool to get a poutine ? Of course we all agree so we bust a phone out in the boat, search muddy moose up quick and hit dial not really paying much attention to it . Anyhow some very nice lady answers and we ask if they are still open to which she replies “ yes we are for another 30 min” . Well we’re like game on ! So we ask for three poutines to which the kind lady replies “ what’s a poutine “ answering her question kind of scratching our heads? How could you not know what this is ? Anyhow I’m sure we sounded hick with the frogs, boat motor, and three Canadians chirping each other through the call. She says oh yes we can make that for you and can have it in a bag for when you get here . Well now we are racing across a lake , jumping in a truck , racing down a muddy back road , down the highway , and yes we had about it two minutes to spare when we got to the Moose . When I ran in the door asking for our order a friend of ours is like “ uh dudes the grill has been closed for an hour” ??? We called the wrong muddy moose …. 🫎 we called you guys 1500km away . Woops . We ended up calling back after realizing our mistake , boy did we laugh , the lady couldn’t stop laughing either . We offered to pay over the phone but the lady said it was an honest mistake and a funny one and that she would offer up the poutines for a couple guests in the store . Good times . When I can get down there on my bike I plan on planning a stop just to order a meal .“

“The food there is very delicious!! My whole family absolutely loved it!! My son has been asking to come here for a couple years,It was probably the best meal we had the whole time in North Conway! “Wonderful dining experience in every way! Went here with family for a 50th wedding anniversary celebration and loved every minute of it! The friendly welcoming staff, the fabulous upscale farm like decor, the well informed waitstaff and all of the artfully presented delicious appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts! Don’t leave without trying the better than Cafe Du Monde’s Beignets!!!“
