“Walking into this cozy family run establishment I was greeted warmly by a young man, and after browsing some menu options I ordered the breakfast burrito substituting the protein for their steak option. While waiting for my food I learned that the owners son was the one taking my order and preparing my meal. I enjoyed the light banter and friendly conversation with both owners, husband and wife, who spoke with pride as their son was excited to prepare something that would, "Blow my socks off!" I felt that the atmosphere was honest and wholesome, certainly a delight to sit and enjoy a fine respite from the cold. The meal came and as you can see from my picture attached, it was Huge! I enjoyed the meal very much packing up half of it togo, and for 16 dollars for such a healthy portion and a drink I felt as though the price was honest and fair. I left a small tip at the counter jar and left with a full belly and I am looking forward to exploring the more dessert-like options that they have available. If you are looking for something with a fair and honest price and friendly atmosphere you can count on 48 Main to provide that health conscious options with the tease of cheat day at your discretion. A great find for breakfast or lunch in the heart of downtown Merideth.“

“The food here was way beyond my expectations. I tried the pickle soup and it was fantastic. The wraps are delicious. My 4 year old who doesn't like anything different and refused to order anything saw my food and ate all the chicken out of half my wrap, so it's safe to say she liked it. I can't wait to go back and try different things. Everything is so fresh and you can really taste it. Even their drinks are delicious. An added plus is how friendly everyone is who works here. I would highly recommend giving this place a try, you won't be disappointed when you do!“

“Absolutely the most amazing smoked meat I've had and this is coming from a person who doesn't eat or like a lot of meat. it's juicy and don't even get me started on the cornbread and beans best I've had. All around the best food I've had. The service is friendly and the music was decent. Will keep coming back!“

“Had a Bullseye chicken sandwich. It was so delicious! From the tender chicken(which our waitress said is never frozen), to the wonderful and very tasty BBQ sauce, which they make and the toasted bun. Also, it wasn't drowned in cheese. Perfect and delicious! Thank you Patrick's!!“

“Came in on valentine's day weekend after getting turned around at almost every other restaurant in the area - they got us in quickly and we were excited to see their special - 2 apps 2 salads 2 entrees and a dessert for $150. a steal. the food was awesome but the part that really stood out to us was the service. Our server Cara was spectacular. She genuinely went above and beyond even a she was serving many other tables. It is rare these days to feel that your server truly cares about your experience and that is exactly how she made us feel. She was friendly, helpful when we asked about other local restaurants for the rest of our trip and so very accommodating.“

“We just had a very busy day and stopped over here to unwind after work. What a great relaxing place. Such a nice variety of interesting drinks and while the menu is limited, it is limited to things. They do extremely well. Absolutely fabulous. Thank you so much. The sandwiches come on waffles. The waffles are so light and fluffy, almost like poofy crepes. My friend and I shared one that was fried chicken, bacon, tomato and peppers and it was so good. My other friend had the lobster roll, just wonderful.“

“We went to this ice cream shop one night for dessert, which was great considering many other Ice cream places were closed for the season or for whatever reason. The staff here was nice, and we both thought our ice creams were very good. There is a display showing the various cones which included a pinecone that they were out of... They got jokes here - lolThere are lots of oddly named ice cream flavors on the menu, but not to worry, the staff is knowledgeable and knows the products well.I got the Monkey Around ice cream in a waffle cone. What's in it? Good stuff...This place is recommended and there are lots of good dinner options in this area.“

“We had the most unbelievable pizzas!The gluten free crust was thin (like my sister likes), regular crust was a perfect thickness. They sold pizza by the slice (only Sicilian left, not pictured, thicker crust square cut - baby loved it!)We built our own well-done pizzas (one was gluten free, other did not have cheese). Prices here were comparable to what we would have ordered from Domino's glad we ended up here! Only wish is they were open a bit later“
