We really enjoyed the food here, we visited twice the first visit was better than the second. You do have a wait as they make food to order but food doesn’t taste like it’s been sitting around. Onion rings and lobster rolls were delicious and worth the wait. Indoor seating in building around the back, we sat outside on picnic tables one day, got takeout the next. Food was best fresh like everywhere. Lots of people seem to be behind front counter standing and waiting not sure...
We we saw this restaurant as we were driving on our way back to our hotel and decided to stop as we love whole belly clams. They had signs all over that they were the best in the lake area, get interviewed often, served more people than anywhere else. We do not find the food to be very good. The portion was ample but the clams were overcooked and very chewy. The coleslaw was the average. You can eat, take it to go or they do have a large indoor area where you can sit and eat which...
Food was very good, portions were well sized and 3 meals easily fed a family of 4 (2 adults and 2 children). We sat outside at the picnic tables in the shade, it was clean. Only complaint we had was it took what seemed like an extraordinary amount of time for our order to be cooked. We ordered fish and chips, a steak bomb, fries and onion rings. It was fresh and tasted delicious.
