Based on customer reviews, Taste of Punjab - Restaurant is a hidden gem for Indian food. The butter chicken and coconut rice are amazing, with layers and complexity of flavors that blow people away. The medium spice level is perfect, and when asked for something spicy, it actually comes out spicy. The butter chicken (mild) can still clear the sinuses but is perfect for anyone with spice tolerance. Other popular meals include Keema Paratha, chicken curry, mango lassi, naan bread, Punjabi samosas, and both biryanis, which are to die for. The kebabs are also a favorite. The food is served in hearty portions, and the sauce does not break down, repeating well the next day. The restaurant brings back memories of Jackson Heights. Service is excellent, with smiles and a wait time of 10 minutes at most for food. Online orders are ready quickly. This is a new go-to spot and a favorite Indian food in the area, now saved under favorites.
