Just wondering why it is so much to ask for someone to respond when you say thank you, with a simple you're welcome. Seemed to be a manager. Completely dead in restaurant. Handed me my order, I said thank you, she breezed right over the fact that I said anything at all, like I didn't exist. I expect this from the young rude kids, not from an experienced adult. It's McDonald's. No surprises. It's a roll of the dice whether or not your food will be warm, let alone hot. It's not too bad either way. Ordered a large fry and got a medium. Typical McDonald's stuff.

We don't go there late at night anymore because the food is always old. If you go in to order, they make you use the kiosk... every other McDonald's I've been in, it's an option not a requirement. Especially just to go up there and pay with cash after not sure the point.
