Stopped in on 8/13/26 and the Food was top notch, Service was excellent and the atmosphere, well built in 1810 says it all. They do not build like they use too: Solid construction and with that old colonial flair. Situated on an old stage coach route. Priceless. Enjoyed it all

The Coach Stop Restaurant & Tavern offers a charming atmosphere with patient and friendly staff. The menu and cocktail list provide a nice variety, including delicious seafood options. Customers praise the outstanding dining experience and delectable baked stuffed haddock special, as well as other dishes like the Ahi tuna and prime rib. The restaurant is located in an interesting old farmhouse/mansion, featuring a cozy, welcoming setting with a large bar upstairs and spaces with couches for relaxation. Live music adds to the overall experience, and customers have noted that the food is worth the price. The fries have received special mention for being crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, making them a must-try. The kitchen was built in the 70s, and the restaurant has a rich history. Customers enjoy the private party accommodations, the fast service, and the exceptional food, especially the prime rib, sweet potato mash, cranberry sauce, and the chef's signature lemon meringue pie.
