Hard pass. Went to support a drag show, when I arrived and paid the cover I was told I could get cash to use to tip the performers from the bar, but when I got to the bar I was told that was NOT an option and was sent on a crusade to a convenience store across and down the street in the cold while the show was already starting. The Hop Knot is a place that makes me feel welcome and also safe. The staff are worth their weight in gold and are a big part of why I love it there. The food is great (omg, the kielbasa knot dog...) and the drinks are flowing!
