I’ve always loved coming here with my mom but today I decided I wanted to come by myself. Usually when I go out by myself I feel rushed and not particularly wanted by the staff. However here, the host cleaned off a table for me to skip the waitlist. I was greeted and served within 30 seconds. Im not sure if she was a manager or not but kayleigh (so sorry if I spelt that wrong) made me feel so welcome. She was so quick on her feet and positive and bubbly to me and every other table. The food and drinks are fantastic but being in the restaurant industry for as long as I have I can recognize how important good service is. I love coming here and am so grateful to have this amazing spot near me. Thank you for making me feel special!

Update: crummy service last time. Short rib Crunchwrap was very sweet, not as good as usual. Not in a rush to go back overall.

Update: 9 times out of 10 it is good here. Good tacos, etc. I think the time before was a fluke.

Got the new CBR taco, it was just okay. Also tried the pepper jack sticks for an app—very greasy and barely warm. Drinks and everything else were okay.

How was Shorty's? Couldn't tell you. We were shown a booth that a child couldn't fit in at first. When we asked for another table, a very nice waitress that was up front showed us to a half booth near the back of the restaurant and given menus. That's it. My husband and I waited 25 minutes. We were never greeted. No one came over at all. We decided to leave. Told the same waitress who found us a table what happened. She was very apologetic. Unsure if we will go back and try it again.

Shorty's is a unique experience. It's nothing like authentic, and the menu hasn't really changed in decades so we can't call it "creative", but it certainly is yummy!

My coworkers and family love shortys and their food is so consistent and delicious. Their fish tacos are to die for. The service could definitely use work. Multiple times I have been dining in my waiter got my order wrong. Takeout is always a struggle. I have had to wait for someone to acknowledge me multiple times and the wait time quoted for your food is always wrong. I have always had to wait for my food even if I am there past the quoted time and more than 50% of the time I have to wait an extra 10-15 minutes. So overall, amazing food but service is lacking.

Carol ruined my daughter's birthday dinner. We waited an hour and a half for food. Carol left us sitting there long after we finished eating. We asked another server for boxes to go. We watched Carol doing her side work and talking to her coworkers. She saw us sitting there and came over. We asked for the check. Carol realizing she never brought the birthday ice cream, packed it to go and charged us for it! Wow!! Really Carol!! My daughter asking what's in the box, as we are leaving for our hour ride home. We won't be coming back again!
