Popped in on Presidents day after a few other restaurant choices were closed upon arrival. We had a bartender that seemed like she needed a vacation. The espinaca dip was delicious and the accompanied chips were warm and fresh tasting. I opted for the El Jefe burrito that has chicken, chorizo, rice, cheese, and refried beans. I have tried just about every Mexican restaurant in the northern Massachusetts and Southern NH area. This specific La Caretta is #1, delivers time after time. Cannot go wrong with food or drinks. Would give more than 5 starts if I could. Martin continuously provides exceptional service every single time. You simply can’t go wrong with Mexican food or margaritas at this place.

The food was delicious and fresh. Having grown up as a Mexican in Texas it’s hard for me to find good Mexican food, but La Carreta delivers a great option. Our waitress, Jennifer V, was incredible as well and gave us excellent service. Highly recommend!
