Was just at the Oktoberfest it's a shame this place is closing.

We attended the Octoberfest celebration and it was amazing down to the last detail. Such a well organized event. Food was delicious and desserts...wow. So good. Great authentic band , plenty of seating. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Sadly the Mile Away property has been sold so this event was the last harrah.

A little hesitant to even leave a review as Im not sure if there's even a point, as the restaurant is closed for good in a couple of weeks.

There were very good parts of the meal. But 3/4 of our party ordered the duck and it was simply not good at all, and 2/3 of our parties mixed drinks were only tolerable, barely.

The dessert was a mixed bag. The cheesecake was okay, the marscapone was fantastic.

Salads were good.

All in all, just a disappointing experience for a last hurrah at a really well regarded restaurant.

Beautiful outdoor tented venue! Couldn't have been more picture perfect! We started under a perfect blue sky with the sun shimmering down upon the bride and groom and ended dancing the night away under the stars! Terrific food- wonderful service- good lighting! Lovely grounds, complete with pond and actual crane- the kind with wings. Rustic yet elegant.

Duck breast and pork Schnitzel were good. Duck was average and Schnitzel was good. Gravy had to be purchased for an additional $5 for the Schnitzel.

Overrated and overpriced for what it is, not the best in town at all in my opinion. Went once ill never be back again

Atmosphere is lovely and the service and staff were excellent but the food is simply not that great. I ordered the pasta primavera and it desperately needed seasoning. The side of green beans clearly came straight out of a can. Someone else in my group said he might bring the rest of his meal home to his dog! Not worth the prices they charge which is unfortunate because it’s a very nice establishment otherwise.
