An old Carriage house associated with Castle in the Clouds.. Nice limited selection on the menu. A winding road to reach it, but certainly worth the ride! An inviting fireplace. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. A lot of history to the Carrige house!
Came in October, the menu was very limited and the food took an extremely long time. No service, tip is included in payment, you bring your drink with you and there is no server, order at bar and sit down with a number and they drop your food off. Not sure what I tipped for.
Nice restaurant, pleasant staff, beautiful view on patio. The chicken salad sandwiches were nice. I question the mandatory 18% tip since you order at the counter, they bring you the food and then you clean your table. I think it should be discretionary. And since there's an 18% mandatory tip, I felt it's not good that they put another tip line on the receipt. Some people might tip twice for what's not really wait staff service.
