Food was okay. No complaints but it also didn't have any standout qualities. Service was terrible and confusing. We were two of only a handful of customers....yet our good sat on the window long enough we fetched it ourselves. The place has the vibe of having an identity crisis between chain fast food and sit down dining experience.
Went with co-workers who’ve been there before, and highly recommended it. I got the two meat, two side combo plate. I got the brisket and turkey. I would typically have done pulled pork, but just smoked some two weeks ago. The turkey was very disappointing, it was a pressed turkey loaf, rather than from a turkey breast or full turkey with no discernible smoke flavor at ring. Delicious food. Friendly people. Nice to kids. My daughter has to avoid gluten and dairy so BBQ has become our go-to on days when we’re out shopping for mom. The folks at Willie Jewell’s went out of their way, on more than one occasion, to make sure she got an awesome lunch. Their food is great and it comes out fast if you’re in the go. Prices are good too. Thanks to the team for making dad/daughter lunches fun and easy for us!
