The Millstone is a restaurant which has the earmarks of a fine Boston or NYCity restaurant! And right here in the heart of New London, NH. Years ago, it was the Players Tavern. And to this day, it continues to be a special place!
The Millstone have the best drinks & food is a bonus. I hate a restaurant that measures. This one does not. Personality is as important..love me some Deb & Jaime.
We would definitely eat here again. The service and atmosphere were perfect for our family meetup, with people driving in from various New England states. We chose 74 Main because our party of six needed to sit outside and accommodate vegans and omnivores. On the phone, the staff was friendly and assured me we'd be taken care of. We were! Our table on the front patio was ready when we arrived, our server was attentive, personable, and quick, and the food was tasty.
