“Stopped in for a quick take out order last night…got a marg while I was waiting. The staff are friendly, kind, and run a quality establishment. I sat at the bar and noticed that everything was clean and comfortable. I got my food and was a bit delayed in eating it, but when I got home and finally took a bite…I was in Heaven!!! I ordered three tacos-carne, pollo y chorizo. OMG they were all delicious! The salsa was fresh and tasty with just enough spice for me. The rice was tasty and fresh too, and with takeout, it’s often dry and flavorless…so that was an additional plus! We’ll be back to dine in next time! Thank you!“
“Great service and food - we will be returning here whenever we want some good Mexican food in the area. It’s definitely our new go-to place. The staff was so friendly; they went above and beyond in their service. The food tasted fresh and, unlike many other Mexican spots we’ve tried, did not make us feel like we had a rock in our stomach after we ate (if you know what I mean.) I could taste the fresh cilantro in our salsa and the fresh lime used in our dishes. My guess is that they don’t use the heavy oils that some other places use. If we eat something with cheap palm oil in it we immediately get a stomach ache - and we did not experience that here. The food was lighter and fresher than we’ve experienced at other places. They had extensive vegetarian options. Also, the portions are big and an excellent value!Vegetarian options: A full section of the menu dedicated to vegetarian dishes.Kid-friendliness: Kids menu, kids menu activities“
“Food, drinks, & service so consistently amazing, that I'd consider moving out this way just to have this be our "usual" Mexican restaurant, could we afford the move. It's. That. Good. !!!We've been here maybe half a dozen times in as many years. Every time we're just blown away. The margaritas are refreshing & so flavorful (try the habanero margarita with cilantro - you're welcome ?). We tried the salsa flight this last time, no idea why we've never done that before but they were all SO FLAVORFUL, & we love their thick, salty chips. ?This last time I got a tofu taco, a masa fried shrimp taco, & a pescado taco (fried). The flavor combinations were incredible...!!! So unique, perfectly balanced, unlike anything I've ever had before, in the best possible way. [$6 each for such incredible tacos is ? worth it, IMHO. Totally competitive pricing. Regularly pay $5 per taco elsewhere & they're nowhere near as good, so $6 per taco here is perfectly reasonable.]Service has always been super friendly & fast. They're always up to giving recommendations & we're never disappointed!Really my only complaint is how tight the tables are. I know it's an old Friendly's but we really feel quite squished in the booths, even with our small children with us. Would be quite uncomfortable with two adult couples in one booth. This is nit-picky though, obviously it would be a huge undertaking & a massive expense to shut down & renovate, & really, the food is so gosh-darn good that I really don't care, it's not like it's gonna keep us from going back.Their chef was nominated for a James Beard award - I believe it! ?Cannot recommend highly enough! ?“
“We've eaten here a few times and Los Cantaros has transformed into one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. The service, atmosphere, and food is all fantastic. The outdoor seating is the perfect setting for a few of their jumbo margaritas but the beautifully decorated interior is the next best thing. One of our new traditions when we are busy throughout the week is to treat ourselves to Sopes on Sundays. They are by far my favorite mexican dish and the crumbly masa tortillas bring me a lot of joy. The toppings aren't bad either, lol. If you are ever in the area, stop in and grab yourself a cheap meal and be treated with some of the best service on the Seacoast.“
“Super delicious but pricey for lunch. As I was asked if I wanted to add items to my burrito bowl, I wasn't told that there were extra costs. All in all I had an average size burrito bowl for $20. Clean atmosphere with some intriguing art to “
“We haven’t been out to eat in months…. I mean months since august of 2023 when my mom had a stroke. We went out tonight and we had Nikki as a waitress. She had a 20 top as well as other tables while she was waiting on us and not only was she super pleasant but the drinks and food were fast and DELICIOUS! I’d give 10 stars if I could!“
“Excellent food. I had burritos and enchiladas. Each more than could be eaten in one sitting. The sauce, the meat, the flavors and the spice. Awesome! Would recommend dinner or lunch. I have had 2 dinners from here and one lunch. Worth the money. Pleasant employees, prompt service and meal.“
“I enjoy the ambiance and aesthetic and the waitstaff are always friendly and check in frequently enough that you always have what you need without overly stopping by.The food is good and prices are very reasonable!!There's always parking and we rarely have to wait to be seated!Parking: There's plenty of free, off street parkingKid-friendliness: It's very kid friendly with a kids menu that has a decent selection of choices for kiddos!“
“I liked this place. For an appetizer, we had the California Fries, which were very good. For a main meal I had the Taco Salad which was also very good. For a drink, I had a sangria. Not the best that I have had. The atmosphere was friendly, relaxing, and fun. The service was great. Our server was friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend Loco Coco's.“
“Everything was awesome. Food was delicious. Went as a group of 5 and the staff handled it no problem. However, one of us ordered a burrito de asada and somehow it had asada y pollo. It had chicken in it. Though my friend didn't complain, his meal, and experience was ruined.“
“The bar tender was extremely helpful and knowledgeable of my diet restrictions. She made a mean margarita while I waited. (Vegans there is egg whites in house mix) Place is very clean. My burrito was sooo good! Huge portions. Love their salsa. Lots of options. Free off-street parking.Vegetarian options: All ingredients listed, pretty easy to determine or alter to vegetarian“
“Great food great service, great with dietary restrictionsVegetarian options: Lots of optionsDietary restrictions: Great at accommodating my gluten free needs. I mentioned I have celiac and the girl, changed ger gloves wiped down the whole counter, opened up all new ingredients and gave me a large portion of each. 10/10“
“They run out of veggies quick most of the time. It sucks when your don't eat meat. But their sofritas (vegan) is realllllllly just amazing. I get their burrito bowls with guac, veggies, and sofritas EVERY TIME. Service is more often slow, so if you're ina time crunch, may not be the best spot to hit. If you are in leasure, go for it.“
