Great to see the original buffet formula resurrected but obvious cost cutting on menu choices, for example no seafood option and reduced breakfast items. Nevertheless still good value in a charming location for family Sunday brunch.
Got the mussels in garlic white wine for an App. for $14.99. There were only 9 mussels to the order. Not what I would expect on a relatively inexpensive food item for the restaurant to buy. Rest of the meal was good. The restaurant was not crowded so there was no wait on a Friday night in the summer. Food came fast and was good.
This is fine dining in a beautiful setting with Mountain views and vibrant outdoor dining. I have very serious food allergies and the chef came to speak with me and created a delicious custom appetizer and dinner. The food was amazing and the service was wonderful! I highly recommend the Ledges!
We had an excellent meal at Ledges. We were a group of six and ordered several appetizers , entrees and desserts. The food was exceptional, everything we ordered came out in a timely manner and was prepared to perfection. The cocktails were also top notch and the wine list was a perfect compliment to the menu. Our server , Lexi provided outstanding service and was very knowledgeable and not only answered our questions about the menu, but also made several recommendations that were excellent. Some of the most memorable items include the Ceasar salad , French onion soup (best I've ever had), the crab cakes and the salmon. The stunning views are what initially drew us to the restaurant, but the food and service will have us returning in the future.
The food is always delicious at Ledges. My husband and I had chicken Cesar salads. The chicken was cooked to perfection. We had the brownie sundae for dessert. Miranda remembered it was our anniversary and the plate was all decorated for the occasion!
Very nice facility in a prime location. Professional service in a well-maintained building with gorgeous mountain views. Food was very good, if a bit “safe”. Drinks were strong and creative. Good wine choices with some flight options.
Beautiful view from our table. The appetizers were delicious (soup and shrimp cocktail). I ordered a “Spa Refresher” drink which was also excellent. The main course was good, but we asked for the steaks medium rare and they were medium. Also, the vegetables were kind of bland and not a lot of potatoes. All in all, a very good meal in a nice setting.
Excellent service, atmosphere and food. When we asked to change our reservation time, they were very accommodating.
Overall the meal was very good, however the soup served at the Ledge is very salty. Anyone with a salt avoidance situation be advised. Service was great.
Had it not been for a thirty second interaction with the food and beverage manager (Kerri?), this would be a rock-solid and unqualified five-star review. The food is exceptional, and fairly priced considering the location and the typical "tourism tax" places in North Conway like to add to their food. The atmosphere and views are terrific. The restaurant is well appointed and the views over towards Cathedral Ledge or Cranmore are lovely. Even the service was terrific. Alexia (if I recall) was a friendly, attentive, and helpful waitress. The only odd thing was that she came back for the signed check/receipt before we'd finished our drinks. At the time I thought nothing of it. Other restaurants have done the same thing, especially if the waitress is approaching the end of their shift. I thought back to this when Kerri came over. Again, we'd paid our check and my wife was finishing her drink. She had about three sips left when Kerri introduced herself ... and then essentially threw us out. Not quite so rudely, mind you, but she said she needed the table for another reservation, half-heartedly offered to seat us over in the bar, and then was immediately irritated we didn't get up immediately. (For some added context, it was barely 7:15pm on a 6:00pm reservation that we'd shown up 20 minutes early to. Apparently, you only have sixty minutes to eat here.) I never saw her approach the table next to us (who had been there longer). but I suspect they were guests of the hotel. That obviously made them better than us "riff-raff" from the street. I did speak to the general manager (Tim?) but he offered some half-hearted replies. I later called (as I was still completely embarrassed for them) and he offered to call me back the next morning. I don't really know what their plan is to make it right (or if they even will), but this is not a place I could possibly recommend to anyone else, especially to those who only plan to go for dinner.

Our table was ready for us quickly and set lovely. Our server, Katie was perfect in every way. Attentive to our needs with great recommendations. the duck over sweet potato mash tasted exquisite and plated beautifully. Hubby ate the crabmeat dinner with potato fingerlings . He ate every bite with relish. We started with cocktails at the bar , lemon drop martini and Czech Pilsner served quickly and with a smile. We love this spot. It's a Fourth of July tradition now. Katie our server brought our dessert out fast. Pecan pie with vanilla scoop and decaf. She shared some nice conversation about cooking. She was the best. Thanks for a lovely evening
Gorgeous views, attentive server, but not intrusive, and delicious food. Highlight of our weekend in the White Mountains
Dinner at the Ledges on Monday was absolutely delicious. Hats off to the chef. I had the delicious rainbow trout piccata. My husband had the butternut squash soup and crab cake dinner. The piccata sauce was so light and tasty. Seasoning was perfect as I dislike salty food. Presentation was beautiful. Portions of dinners were also to our liking. Dining at Ledges was delightful. Views were fantastic; quiet atmosphere; didn't feel rushed; very relaxing; dining room staff very friendly and accommodating. We also dined at Ledges on Saturday evening. I had the delicious lamb chops and my husband had the prime rib dunking sandwich; both dinners were outstanding. This restaurant is indeed a "Hidden Gem" Your Chef needs to be commended for the excellent dinners provided at the Ledges
Beautiful view! Food and service were average. Had the fillet with mushrooms, tender but not much flavor. Would be nice if they offered some more vegetables and side salads.
The food at the Ledges was outstanding! I didn't think I would finish the ribeye with the red wine bordelaise sauce but I couldn't stop eating, including the apple strudel for dessert. Staff was very professional and courteous!
