Over The Moon Farmstead Restaurant & BarN

From NY, visiting friends in the area. Wanted to hear music, have drinks and dinner. Atmosphere was pleasant, but very understaffed. Took forever to get a drink. Overpriced and we couldn’t get food . 1/2 hour there and kitchen was closed and couldn’t serve food bc they couldn’t keep up with restaurant and pub . Very disappointed.

This place is wonderful! We are visiting and found this gem of a place. First, we were greeted by Barley, the sweet yellow lab. Who doesn’t love this kind of a greeting?
The staff are beyond warm and welcoming. There were local bands playing— great music added to the overall inviting vibe.
We ate outside which had just amazing views. The food was delicious and the beer equally great! We loved it and if we are ever back in the area will definitely return!

I hope you will fix your reservation system. We were so disappointed and upset to travel from Concord for a celebratory meal for my daughter and find that our confirmed reservation did not exist. We were really looking forward to it and made the reservation over a week ago.

Great in season food! Service was excellent - everyone is really nice. Try the mead - wild blueberry was super tasty. Views are INCREDIBLE, highly recommend sitting outside.

Phenomenal food. Wait was long and orders were a little mixed up, but the staff, food quality and ambiance made up for it.

We had a reservation for dinner to celebrate my friend bachelorette. When we showed up the hostess informed us there was no such reservation. We let her know that it was moved around but that the manager had confirmed the reservation. Unfortunately it seems it was never corrected in the books. She asked us to wait in the tap room while they tried to get a table for us outside. We got drinks and listened to the live music while we waited. The manager came out and apologized and gave our bride a bottle of mead that said Je t'aime (French for I love you). She was excited about this because her future husband loves mead which she plans to give him after the wedding!
Once we were seated we had a spectacular view overlooking the mountains. The hostess realized that our theme for the bachelorette was Shrek (the green ears may have been a give away) and made sure to get us the waitress named Fiona! It was an adorable touch and the waitress had the best attitude about it all. She even took a picture with us at our request.
For dinner I had the Moon Mac with the Mango Chutney. I now believe all mac and cheese should come with a mango chutney because that was delicious. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. The manager sent us a round of Green Tea Shots for the table which were tasty and on theme. Not to mention he had his dog come say hello to us. :)
And to finish out the night we were given dessert. I had the lemon ricotta cheesecake and it was *chefs kisses.*
While we started off on a rocky note the manager (I believe his name is Marc) went above and beyond to correct the mistake and I highly recommend this restaurant!! If I am in the area again I know I will be visiting.

We made a reservation knowing it was going to be a rainy night and looked like this place had a nice view along with Farm to Table, and never heardnof it, we found it on line. As we arrived , the Host was very frazzled and telling us it was a very busy night… (seemed rather quiet?) The place was very dated. The menu didnt match what was on line, but we found something we both could enjoy. It took an hour and twenty minutes for our food to arrive, no bread or anything offered to keep us busy, nothing. My Wife’s Steak wa fair, my haddock was ok, portions were very small and very expensive for what they were. Epic Fail, we will NEVER be back.

We had a really wonderful dinner at Over The Moon. I had one of the best old fashions I’ve ever had because of their selection of spirits. I had the short ribs and they were delicious. I brought nothing home and enjoyed every bit. The restaurant is located in a place that has an a view that’s worth the drive. They have live music in their barn and we peeked in and the lace was full with people having a great time listening to live music.

This place is truly special. Amazing service (esp Lola but all), very good food, amazing view. Highly recommend . It is a harvest host site too.

Wonderful experience. We enjoyed the breath taking farm and gorgeous views. The food was some of the best we’ve had in the past few years. It felt as though the staff and owners truly enjoyed to have us experience what they have put their efforts in to build for everyone.

Delicious bang, bang cauliflower for starters followed by perfectly done salmon with freshly picked vegetables in a very tasty salad!

This was out first time here. Wasn't sure what to expect. Luckily I asked someone for help after waiting in line out the door for 10 mins. Seating was first come first serve inside and outside. You then have to wait in line to order your food and drinks. Beware you also have to wait in line to pay too.
Other than that aspect the live music, atmosphere inside and views outside are amazing!
The food that we got was really great as well. Some kids burgers (wagu) buffalo wings and pizza.
Would definitely come again despite the line, ordering and paying issues.

Great choice of beers on tap, and we had a pizza that was fantastic. Our only complaint is the seating space is very limited indoors (it was pouring out) and they only had one bartender, which made the line extremely long. We waited for about 30 minutes before ordering drinks and food. Otherwise, fantastic!
