“An excellent restaurant and taproom hidden in the hills of Pittsfield. The food is wonderful, the special dinner event nights were worth the cost of the ticket. Had the pleasure of meeting the owners Michael and Berniece, they were wonderful hosts that made us feel welcome. It's worth the visit for the delicious mead and food.”

“I just to say I know this dunking gets a bad reputation from my experience I go there first thing in the morning and the morning crew is absolutely amazing they are friendly funny are mistakes made sure once in a while but with that we are all human we all make mistakes it happens but to post about all the negatively why not post on the positive if a mistakes has happened go talk to them don't bash them on social media every place is short handed they are doing their best. “Fun stop for drinks and food with friends! Although Northwood is slightly out of the way for us - we would gladly revisit for lunch with friends.They have a large selection of beers and a hard seltzer for non-beer drinkers. We had been looking forward to trying their pizza. It is absolutely amazing, perfectly crunchy, and the large size is perfect to split with a group. In addition to their pizza, they also have a variety of apps and beautifully crafted pastries. Overall - this restaurant is worth returning to.”

“I stayed at the Getaway in Epsom NH for a couple of nights. The plan was to relax on Friday evening and then do some hiking on Saturday. Mother nature had different plans. Friday night was clear and perfect. After dinner, I went to Blasty Blough. Dave, the owner, was welcoming, informative, and genuinely hospitable. During the course of my visit, he gave me a printed map of some hiking trails near Getaway and also how to take a trail to get from Getaway to the brewery. There was a fun mix of locals and other visitors at the bar and tables. The atmosphere makes people jwant to chat with each other and be social. The beers were great. Very diverse Selection ranging from Pilsner, Belgians, IPAs, stouts, all delicious! Saturday started with snow in the morning and then quickly change to rain for the rest of the day. Put a damper on hiking plans. I ended up back at the brewery. The second night was as good as the first. The beers were still delicious and the company was great. Dave is a local treasure. This brewery is worth a visit. Leave yourself some time to really sit and enjoy it. Can’t wait to get back. Cheers”

“Spent a snowy Sunday afternoon at the Gilmanton Winery for a wine tasting. This place is very quaint. We each tasted 6 of their wines. They have wines from very dry to very sweet. We also ordered a lovely charcuterie board. The service was excellent, the wines were tasty and the atmosphere was cozy. We left with a bottle as well. If you're feeling a little cooped up, head over and relax for a bit!”

“I recently ordered two kinds of cookies from Wyatt’s Wicked Goods, and they were delicious! The cookies were shipped to me out of state and arrived within a few days of ordering, and were perfectly baked with the right amount of crisp and moist. I got the Oatmeal Cranberry (which may be my most favorite cookie to date), and the Reverse Americana (a unique cookie made with Cheezits and apples).Wyatt was professional and courteous and sent shipping info and USPS tracking when the cookies shipped. They were worth the shipping!”

The bar is savvy with a healthy selection of beers on tap, mixed drinks, and even a nice selection of wines to choose from.Noteworthy details: This petite bar/restaurant and hotel is a niche business. The B&B type, locally owned and operated with comfy rooms in the 1800's Colonial style house is a taste of yesterday with enough modern updates to make it fun and memorable. I love the staff and have enjoyed meeting friends for dinner and drinks here many times. Great spot for a birthday, get together, or other small celebrations. They even have craft faire sometimes. Reminds me of the early years of United States Freedom,baby!”

“We live in Sicily and have relatives who live in Massachusetts and Barnstead. While visiting in Barnstead we decided to take a chance and walked into this place. Tucked in back was a pizzeria and we decided from the aroma it was a good choice. Our pizza was ordered with light sauce and crispy!!!Let me tell you something!!!! The pizza was spectacular! If I wasn’t embarrassed I would have ate the entire thing. Perfection In Every way!La pizza era deliziosa! “I've been in the Common Man Roadside Market & Deli in Epsom Twice. The Waldorf Chicken Salad & Cheddar sandwich was very good with a good amount of Chicken. The only issue I have is the price. $11.XX plus Tax is a little too steep for me for only a sandwich. If I wanted to add Chips or fries that would have been an additional charge. As for the employees, nothing bad to say. They were great at telling me about certain item they have when I got to the register. The staff was pleasant & friendly. They have plenty of staff behind the counter to get your order out fast. The really good thing is that your name is written on the container when your food comes out. Great way of not mixing orders. Like I mentioned, if it was not for the high price, I would definitely go back again.”

“My wife and I stopped in for lunch today, been meaning to since we noticed it on our monthly trips to Sam's Club. Pretty empty when we arrived (Wednesday noon). Dining area was nice, with large flatscreens on each wall. Could see a large adjoining bar, have to check it out on a future trip. Server came by immediately and took our drink orders (I will ALWAYS order Maine Lunch draft beer when available!). Returned quickly with our drinks and took our food order. The server (Caitlyn?) was very quick, probably because we were her only table so early. Wife ordered the steak & cheese sub (really prime rib!), and I tried the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. Both were very good, filling, fresh, and they didn't scrimp on the protein. The included fries and pickle were also good. Server was fast with the bill (at my request), and we got out as quickly as we'd hoped. Very good value as well ($42 + tip). We look forward to returning, hopefully for dinner or to see a Pats or Celtics game at the bar. Overall, we were more impressed than we expected to be and glad to find another 'go-to' place around Concord.”
