My friends recommended this place. We were all disappointed. Their burgers were cooked beyond well-done, my grilled cheese was dry and burnt on the edges. Then they tacked on a 2.5% surcharge because "their costs have gone up" but never told us on the menu or when we sat down that this charge would be on our bill. Very unhappy with that unpleasant surprise.

This place is a very loud and busy Bar! We had been here about five years ago and really enjoyed the two for One burgers. This time we came on a weekend and were disappointed in the quality of the food. Not only was it served lukewarm, but but you could tell the meat was low quality. If we were to come back, we would just stick to drinks at the bar.

The Goat used to be a good spot in Portsmouth, even with their high prices, until management chose to hire a bunch of liberal, leftist staff. There are still a few decent bartenders, but not that many. Much better options available for a decent experience and atmosphere.
Amazing service, awesome drinks, I got a custom burger 🍔 definitely on my list of top 5. Medium rare perfectly pink the Goat sauce was top-tier. Ghost pepper cheese was on point. I do wish the burger size was a little bigger but hey more room for that yummy chicken quesadilla!! The atmosphere was so nice brought my lady for a early valentines date! A must try burger bar for any foodie!!!

This local franchise is a perfect dive bar spot with excellent food. From two for 1 burgers on Monday to 50 cent wings on Wednesday it’s a favorite of mine. TB12 burgers homemade fries poutine style is my go to

Chicken wings were pink in the middle and slimy/rubbery. Over priced food for small portions. Drinks are watered down for 14.00!!! And the drinks do not look good like the pictures. I was so disappointed. Both my husband and I could not believe how over priced the gross food was. His brisket, wasn’t smoked, no flavor, no sauce. We traveled to Portsmouth to try then out because the decorations and pictures looked nice. Horrible. Don’t waste your money.
