Definitely make reservations. We went for an early dinner so we could enjoy some quiet before the dinner rush. The staff was kind. It seemed as though our waitress was spread thin going between the bar and dining area though as it took some time to get our check after we had finished and our table had already been cleared. Other than needing more staff to help the core staff this place is amazing. The food was on point I had a garden salad with a classic ranch along with the 8oz. Filet with mashed potatoes and the veggies of the day was asparagus. I also tried a specialty drink called the wood bound kiss. It was very tasty. I could have had another. My husband had the French onion soup and Bolognese. He stated how fresh the pasta was. The bread that was provided was amazing along with the seasoned butters along side. Herbs or cinnamon were the choices this evening.big tips to the bus boy as he was very attentive and on top of clearing the table. The environment was beautiful and rustic modern. They had seating for small and large groups and were handicap accessible. We will for sure be returning and hopefully bringing others with us to enjoy in the future.Parking: Park right in front of the Inn check in.

The service and food was outstanding. I had sword fish which was cooked to profession. My husband had veal Marsala which he said was outstanding. I highly recommend Woodbound inn this was our first time and we didn't know what to expect but we were very pleased with our experience there.

I'm conflicted on how many stars to rate this. Here's why. At first sight, it looks like a rundown barn and a horror movie scene. It's hard to tell where the rooms are because, again, all the buildings are so run down. I told my sister we may have to go check into a Marriott, but luckily, we check the rooms first because it is not what you expect. The rooms are gorgeous, and the bed is super comfortable and firm. The rooms decor is modern. You have vintage if that even makes sense. It has some old school furniture, with new appliances and lights. The bathroom where the toilet has a sink in addition to a sink in the area right before you walk into the toilet area. There's even a little living room portion. I had to make a video because pictures would never begin to describe how Airy this place looks to what it actually is. Also, the woman at the front desk rocks she was so cool and so sweet. From what I understood you are not allowed to have outside alcoholic beverages while you stay here. Also there's a huge hill across from the rooms you can tube or sled there

Have been to The Grove many times over the years. Was, frankly, surprised at how few people were dining on a Friday night. They seem to have made some menu changes, which can be a good thing (and we did not explore those changes). The fare is more pub food than fine dining, and we both had the fish and chips. I found the fish to be oily and under-seasoned, and it was served on top of the chips, rendering them soggy. The cocktails were good, and the service was courteous and prompt.

I was there for a celebration of life gathering. Food was great had prime rib red bliss potatoes, stuffed chicken, broccoli and chicken noodle soup. Buffet. ( I asked for the soup recipe and they gave it to me.)

We live about 15 minutes away however had never been to this restaurant so thought we'd give it a try. When we arrived for our 7 pm (Saturday) reservation there were only 2 other tables of people in the restaurant. As someone in restaurant manager this worried me a little bit since most really good restaurants would be very busy at that time. We decided to start with the charcuterie board to gauge whether we would stay for dinner. The board was a little slow coming out but it was beautiful and full of really great cheeses, meats, dips, olives, crackers, etc. We snacked on that for a few minutes but realized it was more "my thing" than my husbands so it became my meal. He decided to order the haddock and said it was the best haddock he has ever had at a restaurant. The food was all really good so I'm still a bit confused as to why this place isn't busy and can only chalk it up to location and maybe people just not knowing it exists. We will definitely go back again.

Went for a Wednesday buffet. Excellent food and service. Parking always odd, but I think they're fixing that.

First table we sat at was over a vent. Terrible draught. But the hostess moved my group to a different table. Food was excellent. The atmosphere was just to open for me. Took away the Inn experience. It was still an enjoyable experience.

Went to meet a friend. Took about 10 minutes when I got there for someone to ask us what we would like to drink. We had menus in front of us not once did the person who was serving us asked if we wanted anything to eat. We waited about another 15 minutes after we had finished our first glass of wine to see if we wanted another one. Was my first time here and I was not impressed at all it was not even busy.

We decided to give WBI another go. Unfortunately, for the price we paid it didn't equal the value and quality of the food. We started with garlic parm wings and unfortunately they were so over cooked we couldn't even bite it to them. My husband liked his burger and I got the lasagna which was great after I had to cut all the burnt cheese around it. We did enjoy our house Cabernet Sauvignon! But, unfortunately we will not be back. Also, no one even asked us how our food was through out the evening.

Went for a wedding. Hamburger was undercooked. Staff didn't seem like they wanted to be there. Coffee was great though.
