Wow! I’ve been in the hunt for delicious pizza since Luigi’s in Portsmouth closed, and I finally tried Pepe Nero’s. My search is over! Their specialty Neapolitan pepperoni pizza was next level.
Simply put, they do pizza right here. absolutely delicious. the crust is flavorful and light with a little crisp, the sauce is homemade, and the toppings are great. Some of the best pizza in the area. The staff was friendly and attentive. Absolutely worth checking out.
Staff is kind and attentive, food was freshly made unique and flavorful! Highly recommend the chicken bowl. Great to have a place like this in that location.

PepeNero Pizzeria & Restaurant has undergone changes with new owners. The pizza is now considered ok, similar to many others, and the unique, awesome specialty items are gone, making it a run-of-the-mill pizza and sub shop. However, other lunch items like the chicken kabob and chicken stir-fry rice bowls are fantastic, delicious, and have generous proportions with a good amount of protein. The service is friendly.
