“I stopped by Subway around noon on Friday, January 9th, and I want to specifically acknowledge the two young women working the midday shift. One of them seemed newer, and both were genuinely kind, attentive, and patient.
My sandwich was made exactly the way I asked — which sounds simple, but anyone who eats out regularly knows that it doesn’t always happen. There was no rushing, no dismissiveness, and no attitude. They listened carefully, checked in when needed, and took obvious care with what they were doing.
What stood out most was the tone of the interaction. It felt respectful and calm, and I never felt like I was an inconvenience, even during a busy lunch hour. That kind of service makes a real difference, especially in quick-service settings where it’s easy to feel hurried or overlooked.
