“Food is very different from the original place Mahzu which is to be expected as it is a different place. Here at Kobe, the hibachi is over sauced and salty and the shrimp and filet mignon is not good quality. The tempura rolls are over fried. The fried rice and noodles are bland and are cooked with way too much margarine or lard as they call it which is a bit greasy and bland. Bring back Mazhu cooks! Nicely decorated. Staff is attentive and friendly.”

The last time I ordered over a month ago I thought it was a fluke so decided to order again and was very disappointed with the amount of taco filling again! At over 2 dollars each this is ridiculous. Unfortunately if the Aberdeen location doesn't improve their portion sizes I will no longer be going. Which is too bad since it's always been my favorite location.”

“Three of us had a wonderful dine-in experience at Koy Grill Marlboro/Morganville enjoying authentic Turkish/Mediterranean flavors and attentive service. From the moment we opened the door at 8:30 pm on a Sunday evening, we were greeted by a hostess who genuinely welcomed us to the restaurant. When we were seated, a pretty glass bottle of cold water was brought to our table, along with seasoned fresh/homemade Turkish bread and olive tapenade. The dinnerware and utensils were clean and tightly wrapped in napkin. Waiter and hostess (Ali and Olivia) introduced themselves. New to restaurant, I was given ample time to review menu. Both Ali (in training) and Olivia were very patient with my many menu questions. Needless to say, Ali and Olivia were spot on. We ordered multiple appetizers - shepherd salad, hummus + pita, crispy feta in phyllo rolls, and lentil soup. For dinner we had chicken shish, lamb adana, and lamb gyro + pita that I opted to top with grilled mushrooms and hot pepper. The online photos did not do the dishes any justice. I should have taken my camera out to share how plentiful the dishes were when served and how perfectly grilled the meats were, too! The food had delicious seasoning - that did not repeat afterwards. We took leftovers home and will enjoy lunch the next day. We each had desserts, too, that were served in glassware. One pistachio/gelato and two hazelnut/chocolate flute - both as pictured on menu. We were offered to take glassware home with us afterwards, but forgot to take with us while we focused on remembering to take our bagged leftovers. All in all, it was a truly enjoyable, unplanned Sunday evening dinner. Aside from the freshly cooked delicious food and desserts, it was one of the most pleasant interactions with restaurant staff that I can remember in a long time. Thank You Koy Grill and an even bigger Thank You to Ali and Olivia for welcoming us and for providing us with a great restaurant experience.”

First, if you are coming here, you should have an open mind as they are selecting all your sushi pieces and you are going to be led in this dance. Chef selects his fish based on availability and quality. That means no two visits here will be exactly the same. You are also experiencing works of art that impress your vision as well as your taste. You will be thoroughly satisfied in every way.
