“Such a beautiful location! The one in Red Bank as well. I went in to pick up my 2 day fasting cleanse. A young lady greeted me with a genuine welcoming smile. She was knowledgeable and informative. I decided to get a hot latte. A gentleman walked over to me and handed it to me! He didn't stand at the counter and say, your order is ready. This customer service was top tier! Oh, and the juices ARE SPECTACULAR, LIKE REALLY GOOD!!!!“

“I visited The Herd Juicery and was totally impressed. They have refreshing fruit bowls and juices, and they serve hot meals that are gluten-free and plant-based. For anyone who has celiac disease or gluten sensitivity, it's nice not having to worry about gluten cross contamination. The food was fresh and absolutely delicious. Even my husband loved his bowl and felt full afterwards without needing to take a nap. The smoothie bowls were a perfect guilt free desert!“

“If you want high quality healthy food stop in Healthy Palate! Everything is always fresh and they are on top and in the know of the latest healthy food trends. Some of my favs are the turkey burger and breakfast wrap. Amazing soups and salads too. Oh and if you're in the mood for something decadent you MUST try the brownie! It's beyond!“

“So I have done fasting before, usually once a year for 3-6 days. So I'm used to going without food but this seemed to give me the same benefits and I didn't get hangry :) I combined my juice cleanse with my brand of CBD (Raw Botanics) and found that this greatly enhanced my experience. The CBD cut down on the anxiety of going without food, helped with my sleep which was an issue and I believe helped in the overall detox. I would 100% recommend Raw Generation paired with CBD. I did the cleanse by the book no food with the exception of 1 avocado on the first night. I cut out all other supplements and vitamins for the week. I did exercise but pretty lightly. Most of the weight for me came off on the first 3 days and it seemed to plateau by day 5. So next time I do this I may just do a 3 or 5 day. My total weight loss was 10 pounds and that was the goal. Once I went back to regular food 4 pounds came right back on but after a few weeks now I'm still better than before I did the cleanse. I plan to do a cleanse like this at least a few times a year. “I tried a quick lunch at Surf Tacos in Manasquan. Cool place, clean with a beachy vibe and interior. Service was prompt, which is always good. I ordered the $15 plate with 2 tacos, chips, beans, rice, and a drink that is a substantial meal. Opted for a Mahi and a Surf (breaded cod) taco to mix it up. They have a nice salsa bar, and I tried a little of them all. Drink offers soda or a tea dispenser.
The Cod taco was heavily breaded and not very tasty. Salsa helped. The Mahi was blackened and offered plenty of taste. I'd order it again.
Overall, I was pleased with this taco combo as a lunch option. Service and restaurant were nice, I'll visit again.“

“I want to give them one star for service because of the young lady at the register, but 5 stars for the man who served us and the lady who cleared the table. Those two were courteous and friendly. The young lady at the register was rude when giving me my change. I gave her a $20 bill, she returned $7.10 by throwing it on the counter. I was shocked. I told my coworker who was with me (he had already stepped away from the counter). His response was yes she was rude (to him too). He paid with a credit card, so she didn't have any money to throw at him, but had an attitude taking his order. I guess we were not the right color for her (we're both different races). If I'm in that area again, I don't think I would patronize this restaurant again. I'm still baffled because I was my usual cheery self when ordering. While my coworker was ordering, I was trying to figure out the menu and what to get. As he finished, I asked him what he got, he said a crunch (or something like that) and I decided I would get tacos. I asked a question about how many tacos because I thought it was the usual 3 that you get at other restaurants. When I was told, it's one taco, I said, oh okay, I would like 2 please. I asked for the sauce on the side. Is that the reason she was rude? I'm still confused by the rudeness. I watched her after that being nice to customers (of her race) who were seated (she was wiping tables then). Smh.“

“it was a hot and sunny morning and i got the itch to go to the beach. after applying my spf 30, i hopped on my unicycle and made my 45 minute journey to long branch. when i arrived, i was so utterly dehydrated, sweating my balls off. i looked to my left and i saw a “Playa Bowls” sign and i knew what had to be done. i ordered a nutella bowl with no coconut flakes of course! the line was long but it was so worth it. that fruit bowl hit all the right spots and completely quenched my thirst. if you ever get the chance to go to playa bowls, don’t even hesitate. it’s healthy and delicious. the employee natalie makes a mean bowl. we love her. slay natalie!!
