Went to see Spike and the Gimme Gimmes and it was $35 at the door. Reasonable. When I got inside I looked over the canned beers the bar offered and bought a 16 ounce Miller High Life (in a liquor store this beer wouldn’t even cost 2 bucks). Bartender charged me ELEVEN dollars. Are you kidding me?!! That’s a 500% mark-up of the suggested retail price. For shame.
I found FREE parking right outside the venue.

They book G flip. They’re right in my book. I didn’t go inside because the tickets were being sold through a Ticketmaster type company and not just sold at the door for such a small place. That’s pretty crappy. I’ve been there when I was a teenager. Maybe if G flip would’ve got Beth McCarthy to support her at this show.

I ordered takeout from this diner. My food was made very quickly. The A/C was blasting, enjoyable for a nice hot day. Atmosphere is great. Wish I could have dined in but wanted dinner at the beach. Highly recommend for dinner.
