I booked this last minute since I couldnt find my other reservation. I did miss the entrance on the street a couple of times but when I walked in-it was absolutely beautiful. The check in was great. I was a little early but they let me to my room. I was floored. I got the Penthouse Jr. and it was awesome. The Hotel was mostly pleasant and maintained though you could see it has been around for a while. They, like many hotels, have a daily resort fee and parking is $50 per day. The hallways to the rooms were dimly lit with tiny spotlights, like in some sci-fi movie. Coupled with the choice of dark brown, black, and gold for carpeting didn’t convey a friendly fun atmosphere. Fabulous location. The desk staff won't tell you (?), but there is a very good breakfast cafe/pizza place right on the ground floor. Great casual place to eat and meet. The conference spaces, though some are inconvenient to get to, are sunny and accommodating. Excellent spots for presentations. Nice bars. BIG DRAWBACK: the hotel pumps in heavy fragrance in all common areas. Made some of my fellow conferees ill. Otherwise, amazingly clean and well run!
