I've long loved Cardinal Provisions, but hadn't been in years. I was pleasantly surprised to find it's even better than I remembered. Bonus points for the great service and the absolutely delicious Xuixo pastry. They still make it, and it's every bit as good as I remembered!
The food here never disappoints. The place is small, almost always a wait and they’re always out of pastries by the time we get there. But we keep going back. They give you a lot of food, and it’s always good. Wish they took reservations but they’re so popular they don’t need to!
Had the best breakfast! We split the breakfast burritos (added bacon and avocado) and the Cacio e Pepe scrambled eggs and both were delicious. However my favorite was the burrito. The staff was very friendly and kept refilling my coffee.
