Ate a giant beef burrito here, and it was delicious. Vibes inside were great; I love how they were jamming to Britney Spears lol. Service was immediate and fast. The food came out quick and hot. Definitely would recommend eating here if you visit Asbury Park.

Giana was an amazing waitress! The food was great and the atmosphere was welcoming. I had enchiladas de mole very delicious. My friends and I got the tres leches and flan for dessert. The tres leches was the true winner today. Highly recommend this Mexican restaurant.

This place is a must when in Asbury. The food and the service are amazing, plus the outside patio is great during warm months. It's byob too! The pizza birria is out of this world!

I was there on September 29th and they stayed late for our group as we ended up arriving to town late just before closing but had to stop in. Their birria tacos and quesabirria pizza is the best I’ve had. I’m from the west coast of Canada and every time I come to asbury to see my sister I will be stopping here! I didn’t save a photo from my recent time but here’s a photo from the year before takeout!

Wonderful,Friendly and Warm atmosphere and Staff! Food is always freshly prepared and delicious! I used to travel far for my Mexican food but now a place close! My #1 new favorite Mexican spot! Wish there ws more parking but I wll park illegally when I have to to get amazing food! Love it!!!

However good you are imagining that the birria pizza is, I promise you it is better. We also ordered tacos dorado/flautas and tacos Al pastor, all of which were incredible. This is such a cute little gem that I can’t wait to order from again and visit for sit down dinner as well!

They got 4 out of 8 of our orders incorrect and didn’t really apologize or try to correct it, but the food was good. Luckily we did not have any allergens or limitations.

We had a fantastic dinner at El Rey. The food was fresh and delicious, the service was fast and attentive and we really enjoyed sitting outside, meeting the neighbors and having a great time. BYOB. We had guac and chips, sizzling fajitas and carnitas con jalapeños. YUM!! The carnitas were outstanding!
Can’t wait to return.

This place has some of the best tacos I’ve ever had! Everything was delicious and it’s super close to the beach which is a plus!! Service is very good too! Only thing to look out for is that when you ask for a large sized drink, they’re going to bring you a bucket so be prepared
