Food is very good - really enjoyed the carbonara. Service is okay - not what you’d expect for the price. They don’t pour your wine for you or offer a bucket of ice for white wine which is to be expected in a more expensive Italian restaurant. That really isn’t the problem though. We also made a reservation and were seated 15 minutes AFTER we arrived ON TIME for our reservation. Meanwhile, another table was being set up for a reservation 30 minutes AFTER ours. Rather than breaking down the available table to accommodate us who were and had been waiting for quite some time, the host continued to let us stand there and wait. Poor management and not really the fault of the host and waiters but the manager. We weren’t even offered a drink or an appetizer for our inconvenience, and the manager did not come by the ask how the food was or apologize. It was disappointing - I have not had that happen before at other expensive Italian restaurants.

Great date night place amongst just general dinners, celebrations, etc. BYOB. It smells delicious as soon as you walk in, the ambiance and setting is beautiful. The menu is simple yet elegant. Got the burrata to start and split the cacio e Pepe and the salmon dish. So good!

Our first visit to Flavia Cucina was on Easter Sunday. My fiancé and I sat at the counter which we prefer most times. Besides enjoying the food, we got to see how the food was prepared right in front of us. The food did not disappoint and it was fresh and tasty. The ambience was chic and sophisticated for Asbury. The service was prompt and friendly without being overly intrusive. Also, the noise level was comfortable which is not something I can say of many restaurants these days. I highly recommend a visit and we will be back.

Loved everything about Flavia's. It was our first time here for my Birthday and it was a great choice. Our server Judy answered all our questions about the various menu items and was so attentive. The fried artichoke hearts and Burrata with truffle sauce were so delicious. The rigatoni pomadora and mushroom tealiatelle were also delicious. The cappacinno was the best and the pistachio ricotta cake was so light and delicious. And it BYOB. Can't wait to go back.

I accidentally stumbled upon this little gem. I am a gnocchi fanatic and good gnocchi is hard to find, they have a gnocchi menu with multiple sauce options. The meatball polenta app and zucchini flowers were delicious, great bread. My fiancé had the tagliatelle with pork and meat sauce that was very tasty and I had the gnocci with fresh mozzarella, tomato and basil. They were everything I was hoping they would be, soft pillows and very light. Just like moms!! Tiramisu was delicious and they offer cappuccino and espresso, most but not all Italian restaurants do. Bring your sambuca. They have a wine list you can get by the bottle only otherwise a BYO. We sat at the counter and were able to watch all the cooking be done right there. Our server Sarah was a seeetheart , a great server and very pleasant and made great suggestions!! Literally can not wait to go back and have the truffle cream gnocchi she highly recommended!!!

The meatball appetizer was delicious and the ragu is one of the best I've ever had. Very enjoyable experience and definitely appreciate being able to BYOW. Will definitely be back.

This was my second time here and I can't say enough good things! One, the ambience and vibe of the restaurant is homey, quaint and not to mention extremely clean. Two, the service is impeccable each time. The servers attention to detail and their recommendations are always on point and never fail. Lastly, the food is out of this world. I can't wait to get more of that gnocchi!!

Decent Roman style menu. Pasta cooked al dente. Amatriciana seemed to be missing guanciale. Cacio a pepe was decent. Best app was the Fiori di Zucca were the best things we tried. Really wished there were some Italian speaking servers and/or hosts.

Everything we tried was amazing (even as left overs the next day). This was our first cheat meal in two weeks so we ordered two apps, one gnoochi , the surf and turf and a chicken entree. All things considered, not too expensive (especially since it's BYOB). Must go back to try their homemade pasta!

The food and service were beyond excellent. I ordered the spaghetti carbonara. It reminded me of a dinner I had near the Spanish Steps. I'm definitely coming back to try other items on the menu.

Best gluten-free gnocchi! With Celiac Disease, it is difficult to feel secure in food choices. Flavia’s staff are so knowledgeable in cross-contamination and protecting the health of those with dietary restrictions. You cannot tell the food is void of gluten!

I hadn't been back to Flavia's for a long time so I was pleasantly surprised to see that the menu had expanded to include lots of delicious options to the pasta-centric original menu. The vegan gnocchi with garlic and zucchini was amazing as an app to share with friends, and the chicken piccata with lemons and capers was spot on. Just don't forget it's BYOB if you like wine with your meal.

A friend and I celebrated our birthdays at Flavia this past weekend. We had a group of 12 people for dinner family style. The food was truly amazing. The service was top notch. The host helped me plan the menu and made some great recommendations of a variety of crowd pleasing, shareable items for each course. Everyone enjoyed the meal, atmosphere, and service. I would definitely recommend Flavia!

Would recommend to anyone looking for an event space! We landed on Flavias for a very special baby shower this past weekend. The layout gave us the opportunity to spread things out around the restaurant beautifully, the windows gave our photos the perfect lighting! Andrea and Kevin and their staff - Specifically Lexi and Libby, were amazing in helping us move tables, set up tables how we wanted, service for guests, etc. Their customer service was great and they handle matters very professionally and fair. Food was amazing, amazing!!! We can’t wait to return for dinner.
