The Beast from the East Sandwich
A tribute to one of Asbury Park's favorite sons, the late great professional wrestling superstar Bam Bam Bigelow, this sandwich features a quarter pound of pulled pork, a quarter pound of chopped brisket, a whole Texas sausage link, cole slaw, pickles, pickled red onion, and our house BBQ sauce piled high on a seeded Martin's "Big Marty" Potato Roll. It doesn't come with a side, but trust us. You won't need one.
Smoke Fried Chicken Thigh Sandwich
Boneless, skinless chicken thigh dusted with house dry rub, smoked, and then deep fried. Tossed in your choice of wing sauce or house dry rub and topped with housemade pickles. Served on a potato bun with a side of handcut fries.

Brunswick Stew is a cold weather dish native to Virginia, the Carolinas, and Georgia. It's traditionally made with wild-caught small game, but since we couldn't find any squirrels or rabbits we decided to use our delicious pulled pork. San Marzano tomatoes, diced potatoes, and corn round out this hearty and filling meal.

Bourbon Foster Banana Pudding
Banana pudding is essential to the BBQ eating experience at great smokehouses throughout Texas. We add a bit of New Orleans flair to ours with bourbon-brouleéd cinnamon and brown sugar bananas. It's topped (of course) with Nilla Wafer cookies.
Whoopie Pies
Rich, dark chocolate cakes with a delicious whipped marshmallow filling sandwiched between them and then dusted with powdered sugar. Two per order.

Neighborhood BBQ joint. Very friendly staff. Delicious brisket! Nice outdoor backyard— like hanging out at your neighbor’s house for BBQ— but, they have a smoker! The cornbread side was really good!

Living a few blocks away, Mutiny quickly became one of our go to spots and never disappoints. The food is always amazing (brisket sliced OR chopped, the smoked turkey, wings, vinegar slaw, collard greens, fries are unreal, and the smoked fried chicken sandwich are all bangin). Takeout is usually quick, staff is always friendly, including and especially the owner, Tom. 5/5, best BBQ around.

I ordered takeout for the Super Bowl, 2 lbs of brisket,
2 full racks of ribs, and 1 lb of pulled pork. The brisket was dry and sliced extremely thick almost a 1/2 lb per slice. Come on you could do better than that. The ribs were also over cooked and chewy. I was hoping for fall off the bone meat, that was not the case. I reheated both in the oven at 250 degrees (covered) for over and hour. The meat softened a bit. It needed a lot of bbq sauce for flavor. Pulled pork...
