Two fresh scones served warm (cut into 4 pieces) with clotted cream and jam. The scones are lightly toasted and incredibly addictive! - easily finished all 4 pieces. This is clearly what most customers come for, and rightfully...
Finally found a place to recommend for traditional afternoon teas.\nI liked the traditional tea I got which had tomato cucumber sandwiches, cake and tea for 9.95.\nThe scones they serve appear to be my favourite Haywood and Padgett ones but the buttery aroma and taste is stronger.\nHowever I wasn't sure about the butter in the sandwiches because it was more like margarine.\nThey also serve crumpets and proper pancake day Pancakes. \nOther than that it was lovely.\nI was surprised...
So the place on the way to the hotel first day, applied for it and got the desire to visit.\nWhen we arrived there was a small line, but we got a table pretty quickly. It is a cozy little place with lovely atmosphere delicious food, cakes and tea.\nOrdered Club sandwich, and muffin man signature sandwich, and victorian spongecake, everything was lovely. Rause portions for a good price.\n\nOur waitress was very nice and we cost us a lot.\nRecommend on the warmest
