Alright so the brekky buffet isn't much of a buffet. They kind of fool ya into thinking it's free because they have the immediate set up right as soon as you walk in but you gotta pay at the cashier that's in the back. The food itself was mid, ya got your standard scrambled eggs, brekky meats and some fruit/bread options. That's it. Best restaurant for price. Large portions. Kids menu are definitely shareable.
My daughter and i decided to give this place a try since we’re staying at the showboat. Food was ok. She got nachos which were barely luke warm and i grabbed a Sicilian slice Pizza Pepperoni would be pretty good

Atlantic City Eatery is conveniently located inside Showboat Hotel, offering an inexpensive and delicious breakfast buffet. Despite its cafeteria-like appearance, the food—including pizza, salads, sandwiches, and fries—is surprisingly very good. The restaurant opens at 8 AM, serving hot, fresh, and enjoyable dishes, with cold juices available. Guests highly recommend the varied menu options and delicious drinks. The seating area is nice and clean, with plenty of space. The service is friendly and helpful, with staff working hard to ensure customers are satisfied. The restaurant also features a bar for hard drinks, and leashed, friendly dogs are welcome inside. Although it can get crowded at times, especially since it is one of only two open restaurants in the hotel, it remains a hidden gem worth visiting for a delightful dining experience.
