Eat at the hard rock casino location. Best sub sandwiches in NJ. The original Whitehouse location is always crowed. At least a half hour wait.
The White House never disappoints. Fresh cold cuts, perfectly baked bread and great service. A bit pricey but the half can easily feed two people
We've been eating here since 2007.... still excellent. Bread is still soft, the portion size is beyond big,and still taste great. Only reason it's 4 stars is because of the long wait times. Otherwise, it's awesome.
Really enjoyed the place. Lived up to what I imagined. The White House Special was da bomb. That Formica bread !!!
Ordered a large White House special sub with all the fixings and a large cheesesteak with fried onion, mushrooms and sweet peppers. Probably my least favorite cheesesteak of the day but the competition between Voltacos, Sugar Hill Deli and Russos was fierce. Iconic place. Great neon signage at night.
Had the Italian sub this place is known for and it was fantastic. Quality ingredients and jumbo size! prices and table service were good.
Always the best! Cheesesteak with fried onions, lettuce and tomatoes, mayo and hot peppers… and the shop at the Hard Rock is just as good!
Truly the best hoagies you’ll ever consume The bread is firm but it needs to be to hold all The goodies
You can't go wrong here. It's quintessential Jersey with the diner feel and the Italian-American style sandwiches.
My first New Jersey sub shop. I tried their classic meatball sub. I was not disappointed. Subs are massive. I could have split the half sub with someone it was so big. The bread was nice and fresh. Slightly crispy outer crust and soft chewy interior. The meatballs are fresh, light, well seasoned. The marinara sauce was bold and had a great flavor. All around well done and I’m stuffed!

There are two locations here in Atlantic City. From what I had read I was kind of excited to return to the Jersey area and get a great submarine sandwich. We found the second location at the hard rock casino. Apparently a lot higher prices then other sub locations near by. Ordered a chicken parmigiana sub not at all what I have had and wanted! It was diced not breaded chicken mixed with tomato sauce & cheese. It was very wet and unpleasing. 6inch $10.95. Our second 6 inch was a cold Italian and that was good. This shop is located in a busy area and only a couple of tables!!
Always our last stop when leaving AC to take home. Subs are excellent, really packed with fresh good ingredients and the Rolls they use are off the charts. Staff is always pleasant. Even if you're not a Sub person (I'm not) this will change your mind. They have quite a large menu from cold subs to hot subs. Love the nostalgia inside as well.
I've heard so much about this place, I couldn't wait to get a Hoagie. WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! I've had much better at Cascia's bakery!
Absolutely love this sub shop. But if you go there because of the Atlantic City Bread, do not order a meatball sub. The bread will never hold up the amount of sauce they put on it in. They reluctantly replaced it with another one. I should have at least tasted the meat first before I had it replaced with the same thing. Can’t describe the taste of the meat. I could not eat it. Was easier to throw away, rather than embarrassment in having to go up with a second complaint. Everything else, Delicious.
The steak is fresh which was good. The bread is not. I don’t understand how people say this is the best sandwich ever. It isn’t. Nice place though. I’m gonna go here again it deserves a second chance.
