This is a beautiful restaurant with impeccable service, and I wish I could rate it higher. However, for the few others like me who do not like the taste of char from a wood oven, this is probably a miss. I paid $80 for lobster that, for me personally, ended up being inedible because all I could taste was the charred shell and left an aftertaste of burnt rubber. Even if you like the taste of char on your food, I feel like lobster has too delicate of a taste and gets overpowered.

Celebrated my 40th birthday with a delicious dinner this weekend. It was my husband and my first time dining and we will be returning. Started with the colossal crab cocktail- the crab was plentiful and the two dipping sauces were great- I preferred the cocktail sauce. I ordered the 2 lb whole lobster. While a little difficult to crack, the meat inside was tender and pulled out easily. My husband had the filet mignon and it was cooked a perfect mid rare and he said it was good....

The steak was indeed good, but not the best I have had. The mashed potatoes were great, and the lobster bisque was one of the best I've ever had. Our waiter, on the other hand, was very sweet and accommodating.
