We asked our tram driver where we could find the best pizza on the boardwalk. He dropped us right in front of Forno’s. Man, was he right. Owner Lisa (so nice & friendly) took our order for a slice of chicken bacon ranch for hubby and a burata tomato & pepperoni slice for me. We added a frozen pina colada for hubby and a frozen mango tango for me. Both the slices and the drinks were outstanding! So glad we stopped in. Highly recommend you do the same!

My wife and I visited Forno's, week of September 24TH, from Florida. After visit 1, we went back the next 2 days in a row. I lived in Rome, Italy, for a couple years and was familiar with Roman/ square style pizza. Forno's is Right On the mark....crust and toppings are delicious, the bottom, is like a smoky, perfectly cooked, grilled cheese. We tried, the in-house, homemade Gelato...excellent....Day 2.....more pizza, and we tried the Vodka Penne.....also homemade....also , as good as, if not better then Carbone, which we have been to in Vegas and N.Y......WE ate our leftover pasta for breakfast, cold the next day....loved it....Any shore town, and A.C......Has you standard N.Y. style slices.....Fornos, blows them all away, and the pasta and desserts, just a bonus....They do have seating as well, which is beautiful, clean, and modern....I really enjoyed Fornos, and now back in florida, we miss it....we will go back......

Also noticed on our 2nd day that the p0lice car was parked outside so we know they’re frequent locals who love this place. No regrets!!! Prices here are also wayyyy better and the quality is top notch than what we have experienced in Las Vegas or other pizza place we’ve had.

My review is purely based off the ice cream, so I can’t speak for everything else! We asked if they had plain chocolate ice cream (without hazelnut) and they grabbed a container out of the back that looked basically empty and probably old, as it tasted really off and also had an artificial flavor to it. I saw containers of sprinkles in the back and asked if I could have some on the ice cream, and they stated those were only for display LOL - who has ice cream without sprinkles? And why even have them on display if you aren’t selling them?? The staff seemed unbothered overall. The pizza looked good though.
I appreciate the friendliness of the staff. They seem like they really care here. Food has always been great, portions are large, the homemade pasta is incredible (my fav is the parpadelle!) I hope they always keep up with the quality and service. Will keep coming back. 5 stars

BEWARE!!!!!!This was my wife and I first time eating here and unfortunately I have a few problems. First the lady the took our orders, come to find out she is the owner I believe. Not only was she kind and very helpful she had the audacity to serve us our food. My second problem is the owner himself, not only was he there to greet us he was working behind the counter making, not helping, but actually making the pizza. Third is the ingredients, I dont know what was on these people's mind but they use very fresh ingredients. I order the lobster ravioli while my wife order a truffle pizza for us to eat later. The lobster had a small shell in it meaning it was very fresh. I didn't need salt or pepper because of their arrogance to blend good ingredients. The pizza was so good. I think the owners wife was upset or something because she not only served us but she cut the pizza for my wife and placed it. The ambience if you dare call it that was a step above it stands out not only for the food but because of the style of the restaurant it is very clean. His wife has o.c.d every customer that left she was cleaning behind them. I think they deserve five to six stars. I would like to report them to the b.b.b for their outstanding service and excellent food. If I could've I would've yelled at the people on the boardwalk to please not pass them up. I'm sorry but we visit atlantic city everywhere year sometimes twice a year and I will most definitely be making these people a visit. If you come to atlantic city beware they have the best pizza on the boardwalk so please pay them a visit.

We got there pretty late in the day after having been caught in a thunderstorm and having walked literal miles on the boardwalk with some overly tired little ones.
It was noticeably bright and clean as soon as we walked in, and we were greeted by Lisa. I’m not sure if she’s the owner or just has amazing customer service, but she made us, and the little ones, feel so welcome! She clearly takes pride in her work and her culinary creations.
The kids couldn’t decide what they wanted and she very patiently gave them multiple samples before they finally settled on two flavors each. We were even lucky enough to sample one of Lisa’s very unique creations: baklava gelato! It tasted incredible.
Though we only had dessert, everything else looked great that we saw and it was a very good experience for us. I would definitely recommend Forno’s to anybody.
