We were having a lovely dinner and were happy to get in without a wait or reservation. There were only two of us. My family member that I was with is in a wheelchair and needed assistance going to use the bathroom. I told our waiter that we were not finished and would be back to continue eating. When we returned are platters gone as well as drinks. We do not drink alcohol. The waiter handed us our check and did not ask us if we wanted dessert or anything else. I asked about our platters and blamed his bussers/runners. Being in the industry, I tipped but we are dissapoointed. I know the manager was more interested to turning over the dining room than customer service. Still will return, but having reservations. Food was 5 star...service was 1 or 2.

We always loved Harrys...especially Happy Hour with dollar oysters which is gone. The Nachos with Crab is still very good but entrees not so much. I had the broiled seafood combo and it was just ok. My wife had the Bang Shrimp and it was also just ok. We do like the outdoor seating.....may go back if they bring back Happy Hour.

Visited Harry’s twice this summer. Ate outside once and at the bar the second time when it was too hot outside. Can’t say more about the serving staff, they were terrific. Enthusiastic and excited to be working and dealing with actual people! Friendly, knowledgeable, respectful and attentive without hovering. The oysters were fresh and there was large selection. A full menu, although they didn’t have the Lobster Roll or Lobster Tail either time - supply chain issues. When the weather cooperates, sitting outside is a delightful experience. Breezes off the ocean with sun, or under an umbrella if you prefer. Will be returning in a few weeks.

Absolutely great food. Best meal we had in AC in a long time. Great atmosphere (we dined outside). My wife and daughters went back and they raved about it too. I can't wait to return. The seafood bake I believe they call it is awesome. All the portions were huge. Crab tacos!Did you sea that bucket sized drink? Now I do understand that they don't want to overserve with these big drinks, but the only complaint I would have was they were a bit weak. Maybe it was just the bartender we had. It's been a few months since I was there that I am writing this review, and just looking at the pictures I wish I could go today! I am several hours away in New York so it's not exactly convenient for me to visit regularly. That being said, I will go every time I visit Atlantic City! I wasn't a big fan of Bally's Casino. I really don't even like walking through to get to Harry's! But it is well worth it.An absolute must when in Atlantic City.

Went to Harry’s about 2 weeks ago and me and my husband have been longing for oysters. Our first time out in months. It wasn’t busy got a seat at the bar and ordered oysters and drinks. Drinks came out right away. Waited and waited for our oysters, we could see the guy shucking oysters non stop and everyone was getting their oysters but us. We asked the bartender what was going on then he went back and brought us our oysters. They were covered in over an inch of water obviou

Menu items unavailable & what was served wasn’t even cooked. It’s a place for drinks but definitely not food.

I've had their fish and chips a few times and they are great. Service great too. This time tried the Oysters Rockefeller. In about an hour or so was sick the rest of the day.

Good not great. You may have to wait during peak times. Great when there is entertainment available. Good bar menu.

My first visit to the legendary Harry's Oyster Bar was not a good one. The interior is so dark we needed our phone flashlights on just to see the menu. The service was horrendous. Not sure if it was our waitress or the food runners or the bartenders but something was completely off.The restaurant was not crowded in our section. Our waitress had literally 5 tables, including ours, the entire time we were seated. She was not 'in the weeds' or overwhelmed with tables. First we waited over half an hour just to get our drink order taken. My guest ordered a chardonnay and that alone took our waitress another 25 minutes to bring it to our table. Our waitress blamed it on the bartender who she said just kept 'ignoring' her. (We think it was because she forgot to put in the order.) When we received the wine, we ordered 2 appetizers. When we finally got the starters we had no napkins or silverware. We asked the food runner if he could bring us some. He said he was "on it"! He never returned.Ten minutes later we still didn't have any place settings. Our waitress was nowhere to be found. We asked another runner for some utensils and napkins and finally got some. The jumbo shrimp at $3 a piece were slimy and far from being jumbo. The calamari was now cold and tasteless The sauce was just a pizza sauce, also with no flavor and cold. Things were not looking good. When our waitress finally came over to the table we were almost finished the appetizers. We told her about the utensils and napkin issue and she blamed it on the runners. (Funny because I personally witnessed her giving them to customers when she first approached their tables.)Also told her about the slimy shrimp and that the calamari was cold and tasteless. She said "sorry about that" and just kept it moving.Next we ordered our entrees. I ordered a caprese salad with a chicken upgrade for $5. My guest ordered a crab cake sandwich with fries and coleslaw. For no reason that I could see, the food again took 20 plus minute to come to our table. My plate had exactly 3 tomatoes, 3 small pieces of mozzarella and 3 tiny leaves of basil. I asked for the balsamic vinegar on the side and instead it came splattered on top of it. The extra chicken was a small grilled breast that was completely dried out and cold. I had one bite of the chicken and that was enough. The crab cake sandwich my guest had was ok, but she had no ketchup for her fries. She didn't want to have to ask again for something that should have been brought out with her meal.At that point, neither of us was too hungry anymore. We ended up leaving with 2 doggy bags of our food that we barely touched.Nothing was comped off our bill even though we told our waitress all of the problems we had from the long wait for just a glass of wine, to no napkins and cold lousy food. All she said over and over again was she was so sorry about the bartender, and the forgetful food runners, and the cold lousy food from the chef. She totally threw everyone else under the bus and hit the gas pedal. Never once did she take any ownership that any of it could have been her fault. It was one of the worst experiences I have had dining out in a long time.If this is the way this restaurant is run after a year and a half of covid problems and shutdowns and loss of income, they need to change for the better, and quick or they're going to have real problems. At this time I do not recommend this restaurant. Go elsewhere until things get better here...that is if they ever do.

Very nice restaurant. Nice place. We had the fried shrimp, sliders, and crab cake. The food was very fresh and excellently prepared. The service was excellent. There could be more lump meat crab in the crab cake.

You can’t get through on the phone. All they say is “please hold.” We walked all the way from the Hard Rock and we were on “hold” the entire time!! We arrived and the hostess was standing there texting!! It went downhill from there. We went at 12 noon on a Friday. Slow service, out of lobster roll, out of chicken salad (so no famous fried oysters & chicken salad platter) and so on. The owner opened a new steakhouse at Resorts, and I suspect he took all the top servers from his other places in order to staff the new steakhouse. This place went downhill. We used to go every time we visited AC, but never again.

We enjoyed our dinners at Harry’s and would go back again. Timely service, nice bar and of course the seafood is outstanding.

Really good food. Hot and big portions. Good service and our server kept our drink glasses refilled.

Come on... can't go to AC without stopping by Harry's. Great deal and price for a full seafood tower... always fresh and tasty. Make sure you get some horseradish with your raw seafood. It's extremely potent, will make you tear but it's worth every bite.
