The Twenties Italian Bistro Reviews
Went for breakfast. We were the only people at the restaurant at 9:15am. The servers and staff were friendly. We ordered our food and when it arrived, our server disappeared. I ordered the banana foster french toast and was brought french toast with fruit. I waited 17 min for someone to find out what happened to my order and for more coffee. The servers went to the kitchen and got the remaining ingredients for me to add to the dish myself lol. They were still very nice and it...read full review
The Food Was Delicious. Our order took way too long with no communication as to why. They were obviously having a bad day in the kitchen because we were not the only table taking so long, and the place was mostly empty???? Another group left as their food came out. Ambiance was neat, felt like we were in a 20's speakeasy or maybe where Al Capone would eat at regularly. Overall a mixed bag, hopefully we were just there on a bad night because I would have liked to rate it higher.
The restaurant was very good. Needs a lot of cosmetic updating but the food was well prepared and delicious. It's in an older hotel and it shows but I would still recommend this restaurant.

The Twenties Italian Bistro offers a welcoming atmosphere and delicious Italian cuisine. The restaurant features a friendly and helpful staff, with attentive service from the servers. The menu includes a variety of vegetarian options and kid-friendly breakfast items, such as bacon and eggs. Customers have praised the Cajun shrimp omelette, grapefruit mimosa, and the Pomodori Verdi Fritti (fried green tomatoes) as standout dishes. The Tiramisu and Canollis are also highly recommended for dessert.
The restaurant is located inside The Claridge Hotel, and the service is excellent. The manager, Mrs. Irene, is very nice and attentive, as are all the waitresses. Customers have enjoyed the fancy and elegant atmosphere, with perfect background music. The Special Breakfast, such as the Western Omelette, which includes coffee, is very affordable and delicious.
The restaurant offers reasonable prices for the Atlantic City Boardwalk area and provides a lovely ocean view from the sixth-floor location. Visitors can try the black rice risotto for something different from the usual pasta dishes. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxing, and the staff is pleasant and attentive, with the chef greeting customers during their visits.
