“For those that are looking for a cheap steak this is not the place. The food is absolutely amazing and the steaks are cooked to absolute perfection. The lobster Mac and cheese "side" can be a meal all on its own, so be prepared if you order it with a steak. You will not leave here hungry, but your wallet will be a lot lighter. The atmosphere is good. However, it can get a bit loud. They definitely fit as many tables that they possibly could into the restaurant.“

“If you want fresh seafood without the tourist prices, this is the place to go. It's actually a local seafood market, a couples of blocks from the boardwalk, but they have hot menu items that you can dine in if a table is available. They just have a few tables and stools. Food is fresh, tastes like home cooked meals, and is so affordable. Owners are very nice and attentive, and asked how everything was. This will be our go to whenever we're in Atlantic City“

“Chef Sheed's BBW food is excellent. Off the beaten path, cannot eat in. Stars off for that but 5 stars for the food. He has his own smoker truck. I had the smoked beef brisket platter. My body won't process meat anymore. It has to be good quality and soft( like a good rare filet mignon) . His brisket was amazing. You get 2 sides with the platter. I got collard greens which were my favorite greens besides my own. Very delicious. And I got Mac and cheese. OMG......it's Mac and Heaven. That honestly is the best Mac and cheese that I ever ate. You have to try it to believe it. Somehow every time I went to the store to get some more, it was closed but I'm telling you, this is some excellent BBQ. Real homey comfort food. I love it.“

“I love this place! This place has a beautiful, warm atmosphere! The food is delicious and the hospitality is unmatched. Pricewise it is much lower than its competitors in Borgata. That being said, quality is not lost in the food or the service. Every time I come here, I am greeted with a big smile by the hostesses and a huge welcome for Manager Dan . We always come a bit early so we can sit at the bar and have a delicious pear martini. Once our seat is ready , the hostess brings us to our table. We always request a table by the cozy fireplace. The server came over and introduced himself. He told us his name was Micheal . He was very friendly from beginning to end. My husband and I were celebrating our wedding and the whole staff fussed over us. They seemed just as excited as him, and I. Then manager Dan came over and greeted and congratulated us. The lamb shank was beyond delicious. Everything was perfect . At the end of our meal , manager Dan surprised us with a beautiful dessert! He really made our night special! I have been to the more expensive restaurants in Borgata. They come nowhere near the hospitality and atmosphere of American Grill! I recommend 10/10 !!“
“We were warmly greeted by Tina and made to feel very welcome. The service was good, but we're spoiled by Michael who wasn't working that night. My husband is crazy for the Wagu lasagna and I'm a big fan of the linguine with white clam sauce. We were not disappointed!! The food was delicious and we enjoyed an amazing meal. We had a nicely priced bottle of Malbec that we thoroughly enjoyed. The Palm is a definite “must” when we go to AC!!“

“A hidden gem in Atlantic city. The food was BEYOND amazing! The server was also extremely attentive. I must admit, I judged this place when I walked in way too soon. But then the wait staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We waited 30+ minutes for the food because it was all freshly done. Well worth the wait. The food did not disappoint! Phenomenal!“
“My wife and I had 6:00 Saturday reservations before an 8:00 show (also at Ocean Casino Resort). It was our first visit and we were seated within 10 min of checking in with the host. Dining area is bright, nicely-decorated with comfortable seating. Our server was very friendly, engaged, and informative-- he made several helpful recommendations on beverages and entrees which were spot-on! The complimentary freshly-baked rolls ridiculously delicious and addicting-- we could've easily eaten a dozen. My wife started with a Sorrento Sidecar-- she rarely partakes of alcoholic beverages, but she absolutely loved the taste, and it wasn't too string for her. She had the Tricolore salad followed by Fettucine Al Gamberi (with rock shrimp)-- both were delighful! I thoroughly enjoyed the phenomenally tasty Octopus Carpaccio followed by the Branzino Al Forno. I ordered a side of the Brocoli Rabe with Garlic and Oil, which came to the table in a family size bowl-- unfortunately it was mostly tasteless with not even a hint of garlic or oil, a minor misstep which failed to diminish the overall superlative dining experience ror us. There was no wait at the bar, but I also visited during the off season.Tried the oysters on the half shell, tuna tacos, and the house salad. The oysters and house salad were great. The tuna tacos were just ok.Bartenders were both great.“
