I visited my second Home town of Atlantic City and was delighted to dine at Platters. Although it was my second visit I was introduced to the Owner Todd this visit by His #1 Customer my Father. My Sister and I dined with Our Grandmother and Father and had a meal to fill your soul. The food slaps. It’s a little bit salty but the flavor profile is amazing. You feel like Big Mama cooked this food to perfection in her kitchen in the back. It is made to order, so depending on how busy they are you may need to wait a little bit. Whether you dine in or take out, the food comes in take out containers so it is definitely not a fine dining experience. They do offer a BYOB cork service which is pretty nice. A hidden gem in Atlantic city. The food was BEYOND amazing! The server was also extremely attentive. I must admit, I judged this place when I walked in way too soon. But then the wait staff went out of their way to accommodate us. We waited 30+ minutes for the food because it was all freshly done. Well worth the wait. The food did not disappoint! Phenomenal!
